First off, I would like to apologize for my chatting. I was foolish, and made some mistakes in the past. I have recently been avoiding that, and I'm doing well. I just hope that everyone will forgive and forget.

Now on to my real review...

I recieved My Scene My Bling Bling Barbie for Christmas, so I do own this doll. I'll start with the doll itself; Barbie's slightly wavy blonde hair reaches her mid-back, right on her hips. The hair is parted more to the left side. Her glasses I've yet to remove from her hair;they are white framed with blue lenses. Her eye makeup includes different shades of pink and sparkles. Her eyes are light-blue, with white light refleting in her eyes. Her lips are pink with a darker rim of pink and tons of sparkles which have yet to fall off. Her jewelery is stunning:blues, silvers, and whites. Barbie has a set of earrings, a necklace, a bracelet, a watch, two leg stockings(they begin below the knees and end at the ankles), a placstic purse, silver cell-phone, sparkley silver make-up bag, powder puff, lipstick, eye shadow, and finally an expandable bling ring. Just look at all of those wonderful accessories! Now are those cool sounding, or what? Barbie's boots are realistic looking - ones you'd find in stores. They're silverish-white with the 'crinkle effect'(so chic!), and they have straps with silver beads running down them. Barbie's powder-puff wrap is white with silver strings springing out. Now I've finally reacehed the outfits. First off, allow me to say this shirt IS revealing, but if the wrap is scrunched up, it will NOT look revealing. The halter is translucent below the joining line. The joining line IS the only part of the top that appears on her back. Barbie's belly ring is silver (I know that was random, but I forgot to add it in earlier). Barbie's mini shirt is a blue leather material with white stitching and white lace trim. Her too-cute belt is a metallic silver with shimmery flower pendants. Let me tell you, her dress is WAY more dazzling then her first outfit. With the first outfit, I would've given the doll 4 stars, but the second outfit takes the cake, and raises the rating to a full *****5stars*****. It's a white tie-behind-the-neck dress with pink glitter dots running in flustered rows around the dress. The remarkeble frills are a mesmorizing moonlight blue, which truly makes this doll worthwhile.

So, if you ask me if this doll is worth the full price, my answer is this; yeah, HECK YEAH! And if you're not persuaded, then read Avie's(Meg's) review and you will be. If you do trust me, I'll give you a little 'word to the wise'. "This is the best My Scene Barbie doll made by Mattel. She's durable, gorgeous, and fashionable. This doll is everything a collector, child, or teenager could ever ask for."

12 YEAR OLD DOLL FAN (My Scene, Bratz, Barbie, Polly)

I am all for Barbie, but I have to say, this is the sluttiest doll I've ever seen. I have never been a big fan of Bratz dolls, but I have yet to see a Bratz doll that looks this bad. I think it's sad that Mattel feels they have to make this kind of doll to compete with the sales of other trashy looking dolls. The other My Scene Barbies are cute and cool. This doll is just obscene.

I DON'T DON'T THINK THAT THEIR IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH THIS DOLL.YOU CAN HAVE YOUR OPION BUT WHY DOES IT HAVE TO TURN IN TO THIS. LETS LET EVERY BODY HAVE THEIR OPION. AND LEAVE IT ALONE.

My daughter who is turning 6 saw this doll and expressed how much she would like to have it. I had to tell her that it was not something that I thought she should have and she asked why and I simply explained because of the way she is dressed. She is a very pretty doll and has lots of sparkles but the outfit is way too much. Since I don't want her to have this particular doll I did see an alternative that is still pretty and sparkles...it's the Bling Barbie but the head only that you can style the hair or put makeup on. I think I will buy that instead.

A "my scene" emo Ken with stringy black hair, at an angle, covering 3/4 of his face? Wearing a tight tweed sweater and acid-washed ripped jeans with doodles from his past boyfriends AND hot girls? How about the mini razor blade accessory, with cuts on his wrist going across the highway, of course.

Ok, I don't have this doll, I won't buy this doll...If I ever have a little girl she will never have anything like this. I saw some girls saying how the doll was appropriate for 10-13 and I almost fell out of my chair! This doll is -IN-appropriate for someone under 21! The short skirts the short tops. How the heck can Mattel think that this was a good idea? I'm 23 years old and I would NEVER dress like that NOR would I allow my CHILD to dress like that. Bottom line: SHAME ON YOU MATTEL!!!

I think they should rename the doll. Instead of 'My Bling Bling' Barbie, why not 'My Little Hooker'? It's disturbing to think a toy manufacturer would market these dolls to girls as young as 6 years old, but what disgusts me more are the parents who would buy them.

Ok folks!!! What has Mattel done? Besides try to teach our children that it's ok to look like a hooker!! The only thing that this Barbie is missing is Ken so he can be her pimp! Shame on you guys! As of right now my child or I will not be strolling down the Barbie Isle. Come on Mattel STOP AND THINK WHAT HAS BROUGHT YOU THIS FAR THIS LONG!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, what are we teaching the little girls of today? I am 16 and I'm in search of an appropriate doll for my 6-year-old sister's birthday. She had said something about wanting a "'pretty' bling-bling doll". So Im searching for my scene bling bling dolls and a sluty row of dolls pop out and Im shocked. Okay I have to admit, these dolls are load of fun, and they last forever. Educational value? Zero.0.Zero.0. But I put one because I can't put zero. What was mattel thinking when they put this doll on the rack? We are showing little girls its okay to go out hardly covering what we need to cover. Thats not good. Girls look at dolls as their role models. The little girls of today are going to turn out like this. We better do something. Thats all I have to say.

This is a horrible example to set for young girls. Women all over are working hard to raise girls that respect their bodies, expand their minds, and turn their backs on stereotyping females as objects of beauty with no other intrinsic value. Any parent who would encourage the opposite by purchasing this doll is doing a disservice to women everywhere. This is disgraceful.
