I bought 2 of these for my granddaughter's. When they arrived I thought they were cute but wasn't sure what they could play with them. They knew better than me though. The dining room was turned into fairyland and they had so much fun playing fairies for the entire afternoon. These dolls seemed to really spark their imaginations and do everytime they come to visit grandma. The wings are fragile but they don't seem to mind. A cute doll for the price.

I bought two of these for my daughter's 3rd birthday and she absolutely loves them. They are really pretty and glittery, they are more posable than other Barbie dolls. The wings are fragile, but a child would have to be pretty rough with them to tear them up. The only negative thing was their hair was unusually nappy & tangly for a new Barbie just coming out of the box. It was not soft and silky, until I took a comb and combed out the tangles.I would definately buy these again and may get her the blue one next time.

What's Up With These Wings?,

My daughter saw these dolls on a commercial, and had to have one! It's a very pretty doll, and something different from your basic Barbie doll. HOWEVER...The wings should be made of a heavier fabric because it doesn't take long before the edges of the wings curl up all over the place, and there is no getting them flat again. And they don't move very well either.

My 8-year-old bought this fairy with her own money -- and during her first play session, one of the wings bent when she put the doll down on its back. As she tried to straighten it, the plastic nearly broke in two, but enough stayed attached that I was able to superglue it together. The break is on the main branch of the wing, so if it breaks completely through the whole wing will fall off.
She hasn't played with the doll since, as she can see the glue isn't holding great & just doesn't want to deal with "breaking" it again. It is a very pretty doll, but the wings need to be more substantial. Maybe the more expensive fairies in this line are better made, but I don't want to spend the money to find out.

My 3 1/2 year old daughter got this Barbie for being a big girl and going potty all by herself!!! She feel in love with this doll and who wouldn't she is so pretty. The first dissapointment came when the wings only flutter when you make her go up and down. The commericial makes it seem as though there is some sort of button. Then when I attached her wings only one stayed in really good and the other kept falling out - very annoying!!! But to make matters worse that same wing snapped as we were trying to put it back in. My daughter is so sad - she worked so hard to get this fairy and now she has broken wings and no longer flys... I have yet to call Mattel, which I will do today and I am hoping they will make it all better - they are usually very good. Just thought I would share for those going for the fairy - careful of the wings!!!

This fairy is really pretty! She's very sparkly! The only thing I have bad to say is that one of the wings won't stay in! Everytime I picked her up it fell out!!! But, I put hot glue on the end of the wing and put it in the back and it hasn't fallen out since. All in all this is a great doll. She's very pretty, just be careful of the wings!

It's A Good Toy, But Couldn't The Wings Flap?,

This is a very imaginative toy that my daughter likes quite a bit. However, the wings don't stay on very well and the first thing my daughter wanted them to do was flap. They don't. This could have been a much better toy.
Details are up to the Barbie standard, but I just don't think this doll will take off with the young'uns as quickly as many of the other Barbie dolls.
