Little girls like their music just as much as teenagers! The Barbie DiscGirl CD Player is a battery-operated pretend CD player that includes four miniature plastic CDs. With safe rounded corners and a detachable carrying strap, the CD player is about 4.5 inches square and is made of hard plastic in Barbie's signature hot pink. The operating buttons are simple, with a "random" button to select tunes without using the CDs. There's a hidden switch inside the battery compartment (three size AA batteries required) to lower the volume setting from loud to medium--a boon for parents who might prefer a softer version of "Music Box Dancer." --Marcie Bovetz

My daughter got it for christmas and is very careful with her toys. It lasted last than a week and I returned it.

Honestly, this toy is very annoying to us adults, however, my daughter got this when she was 3 & at 5 she still loves it. It will keep her occupied for quite some time!

This is really cute for the price. My daughter is 3 and a half and loves it. For moms- it has 3 volume levels- always a plus.
