My 4yo daughter LOVES this radio. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 b/c the 2 barbie stories have no volume control and are LOUD. We can hear it 10 yards down the hall in our bedroom when our daughter listens to it to go to sleep.

One plus is the button to start the stories is easy to find and for a 4yo to push. The AM/FM radio and alarm settings are something an adult would have to do.

The projector is adjustable so you can aim it right over the bed. The frame around barbie's picture lights up bright pink while the stories are playing.

I bought this for my daughter for her bday earlier this year and she just loves it! She loves the stories she can listen to Barbie tell and yes they are a bit loud but she doesn't seem to mind. Sometimes she'll put a pillow over it to muffle it some. But the light around the frame is a nice touch as a soft night light and she loves the side light projector.

I purchased this item for my grand daughter. My son said it came in a plain box that had what looked like a photo copied picture of the item pasted on the box making it look very cheap. The story teller won't work at all. We are attempting to contact the seller Discounts Jungle and Emerson (who manufactures it) so see if we can find a resolution. Will post additional once we have (or don't get) a resolution.

My six year old was having a hard time going to bed at night until we bought this clock and her Princess Novelty Lights. She listens to her Princess Stories every night before going to bed and sometimes even during the day when she chooses to rest. The only problem that I have with it is that their is no volume control for the story and it is loud. I have to turn the TV up otherwise I would hear it.

Ordered this clock with my daughter, she was soooo excited. It arrived defective. The clock did not work at all. Contacted the company (Discount Jungle) requesting a refund (not a replacement), they shipped a replacement!! I refused the package and returned it to them, they said it never arrived. After calling twice I ended up filing a claim with amazon to get a refund. Buyers beware!!

I purchased this clock for my 7 & 3 year old girls for Christmas last year. About 3 months ago the time setting started to blink. I would reset the clock and it would happen again. Now the time an alarm setting is completely broken. I called Emerson about it and they explained the the 90 day warranty period has expired and there is nothing they would do to help. They indicated that do not repair the items anymore so now I am stuck with a broken clock. The girls really liked the story and projection but this clock is not worth the money. I worked for less than one year.

Stories are too loud! Projection pictures fade away after a few months. Volume dial is useless after a few months. Nice idea, poor design.

I ordered this for my daughter who just loves Barbie. I ordered from DiscountsJungle and was very disappointed. The box looked cheap with a photocopy on the outside and the instruction manual was another photocopy. The radio didn't function properly because the storytelling feature didn't work and it was cracked on one side. I called DJ and was told to send it back. I did send it back and then it was lost in the mail. Another call to DJ and they sent another replacement. This radio worked properly for about 30 minutes and then made a constant noise. I was told it was just interference. Stay away from DiscountsJungle. Their products are at a discount for a reason.

my 5 yr. old loves it. listen to the storys everynight. like the other reviews it is very loud and is difficult to mute dispite several attempts. bought one for my 3 1/2 yr old also out of gilt and its yet to be used and is sitting in the bottom of her closet. I guess a litte to young yet.

My daughter loves this product because it cast a light of different designs on the wall and tells stories, I purchased it as a refurbished item and when we plugged it in the numbers on the clock do not display correctly, it only shows half of the number. After several attempts to set the clock and unplugging it I still can not get it to show the time.
