Children join Barbie as Swan Lake's Odette, who, along with Lila the unicorn, must work to break an enchanted spell. It seems that all the beauty has disappeared from the lake and forest, and only magic wands will restore order. Children will search for the ingredients to make magic wands, which in turn they'll use to paint the beauty back into the land. This is a very satisfying task, as kids watch their actions create lovely enchanted scenery. As they proceed through the program, children will also help the creatures of the forest solve puzzles and play unusual games. One of our favorites was the firefly catching game where the bugs have to be coaxed into a jar before they escape. This proves to be tricky and fun. In sum, this is a simple, compelling program. I bought this game for my daughters for Christmas in 2003 and they still play with it at least once a week now (dec. 2004). There are matching games, problem solving excercises and they have to find hidden objects. They love the music, the games - all of it. This is a great gift for any girl from age 3 - 8!

My 4 year old daughter loves this game and wants to play it everyday since we ordered it. Most of the screens are easy enough for her, however there are a few that she finds some difficulty with. One such page asks her to sequence bottles of potions (kind of like the old "Simon" game). Another page asks her to complete a mirror image of a scene. Still she manages and is eager to try it...it wouldn't keep me from purchasing it.

My girls (ages 3 and 5) love this game. The graphics are beautiful and the activities do actually teach them something. I highly recommend it.
