I was late in getting a 50th anniversary Barbie so I was delighted to find this seller on-line. I received my purchase much more quickly than I anticipated. Thank you!

This Barbie is totally Cute! I love how Matel has updated the outfit from the original Barbie Outfit and made the bathing suit a two piece instead of the one piece. Barbie has the cute sunglasses and cell phone. Attached to her ankle is the 50th anniversary tag that shows she is the special 5oth b-day Barbie! Great Job and all at the special price!!

I love this Barbie. She is totally cute and retro all in one. I got her during the 50th anniversary week at the special anniversary price. A great addition to my growing collection.

This Barbie is a great edition, all at once a great blend of classic and trendy.

I ordered the Then & Now Bathing Suit anniversary Barbie Doll from another seller (at a much lower price, because we intend her to be a toy, not a collectible) and Barbie is just as expected... Except her purse is cardboard!!!! None of the reviews said her purse was cardboard!!! I was debating between this doll and the deluxe edition, so it looks like I'll be getting both now... Oh well.

Then & Now Barbie is a fun and beautiful doll, and she and my little girl will have hours and hours of playtime at Barbie's pool and on Barbie's party cruise.

I'm having a reunion of some high school pals this March and bought 6 of these Barbies to put in their goodie bags - Why you ask - well Barbie is the same age as we are! Yes, if she had went to high school she would have been in our class. How fun is that. So, I recommend to anyone born in 1959 - buy this doll - put in on display and let the world know you and Barbie are the same age.

For the money the Barbie collector can't go wrong with this one. This is a great tribute to a great doll, and fun too. The price is right, and that makes this doll great for collecting or play. Barbie looks gorgeous with an updated version of that sassy look!

I had the original bathing suit Barbie, but who would have known that Barbie would become the most sought after doll in the world. We played awfully hard with Barbie; she wound up being GI Joe's girlfriend in our house. I'm glad I have another one to add to my collection. Barbie is quite beautiful in her new suit. Get one asap to add to your collection or for your daughters.

My grand daughters loved this. The only problems is the hair comes out when brushed by a 3 year old & the shoes are hard to put on and are easily lost. I think it probably should have been recommended for a older child.

The packaging is nice, Barbie is pretty, the whole presentation is good. I bought it because it is the 50 year release and Barbie and I are both 50. I managed to get it the first week at the 50 year price of $3.00 however I would like to have a couple more for my neices but don't mind paying a fair price for them later. It is a cute remake of an older doll and I still think Barbie is a great girl gift. I played with mine forever.
