My daughter had outgrown a mary jane style shoe made by Skechers from a similar lightweight material, so I looked here on Amazon.com for something comparable at a reasonable price. This shoe works! They're not made of a hard plastic so while they protect the child's feet very well they're also flexible and light for playing in. At this price, they're well worth it!

My daughter destroyed these shoes. But, in their defense, she found them comfortable and loved to wear them. However, they got filthy so fast on the playground and I couldn't wipe them down very well. Ok for the price, but not the shoe for my rough n tuff kid.

Summer shoes need to take in hard-at-play feet but these made the feet slip-slide inside, making it unsafe and uncomfortable.Pretty but didn't get much use.

My 6 year old daughter has extremely narrow feet and I can never find sandals or summer shoes (or *any* shoe practically). This shoe fit her great and is comfortable. It is kind of cheap looking, but she loves them. She's worn them for two summers now and this summer I'm getting a new pair.
