Barbie: Wee 3 Friends - Fun Doll Set

I stopped in my tracks when I saw this set of 3 dolls in the store, and immediately put back what I had been intending to buy. These larger "Stacy" dolls are great! They have study, heavy-weight vinyl bodies that stand in a cute, modern-looking way! Their expressions are happy and sweet...a pleasure to look at! They have long hair and really cute fashions in this set. I was so glad to see sweet-faced dolls come back after the recent glut of those sly-faced bratty looking dolls I so dislike. Now I can feel pleasure while looking at these cute dolls and sewing for them. They're bigger than the old Stacy dolls, but with 3 in one package (I ALWAYS want more than one doll of a type) this new doll is a great find. I'll be watching for the other sets I've recently read about.

My problem with the Bratz and the My Scene dolls are that they are generally immodest and have way too much make up on their faces. These dolls are a great alternative if you feel the same way. They are really cute and come with stylish clothes and some great accessories. These dolls were at the top of my daughter's wish list for her 9th birthday and I was happy to buy them for her. She loves them and plays with them a lot. Her older sister (almost 12) really likes them too, I am thinking about buying her a set for her birthday. It's a great deal too, I think. 3 dolls and accessories for only $20, you can't beat that! My only wish is that they would come out with clothing and accessory packs in addition to the dolls. My daughter would love to have more clothes and things for her dolls, but I don't want to buy another set of the same dolls just to get different clothes.

I guess b/c I'm a young mom, I don't remember ever playing with the original "stacy" doll; so I *love* these new ones. Besides, my daughter doesn't even know what the original looks like, so she doesn't mind that they don't look the same.

In a world where "Bratz" have drag-queen makeup on and little belly shirts, I was pleased to find these dolls. They're fashionable and cute, without being immodest. The clothes that they wear are appropriate for all ages and for school attire. The doll's shoes are a bit mature, but most 6-8 yr. old shoes are platform-style anyways. The hair on them is silky, and easy for my 6 yr old to brush, without it getting all tangled. There is even little girl underwear imprinted on the doll's body. Thier heads are bigger, but my daughter doesn't mind. The dolls have sweet faces, with little or no make-up.

Getting 3 dolls with clothes, purses, doggies, etc. for $19.99 is a steal! I am soooo pleased. I would like to see more from this line. Like, additional outfits available for purchase.

The bad- Some of the smaller pieces are just too small! The dolls come with tiny pencils that my daughter keeps misplacing. My other complaint is that the brushes that come with the dolls are anatomically correct for the dolls' hand, but not for actually brushing the doll's hair. We use a Barbie-sized brush to brush the hair.

My 7 years old daughter LOVES these dolls. I like them because (unlike Bratz or My Scene Barbies) they look like little girls. Really cute, but still "cool looking" and not "babyish" (as my daughter puts it). I wish there would be extra clothes available for purchase, though. This is a great deal, dolls are nice size - about Barbie length. We often buy these as birthday presents for my daughter's friends and they are always a hit. They should be marketed much better! Every girl knows Bratz, they are always surprised to receive these though!

My daughter recieved both sets of these Wee Friends dolls for her fifth birthday. They are very different from the Stacie dolls of the past, but that is what makes them so great!! They are much easier for little hands to manipulate, especially the shoes. They are wonderful dolls. Perfect for her age group. In a world of "[appealing]" fashion dolls, these dolls are very tame. They have cute "hip" clothing, and cool accessories. They have their own carrying case, and you can't beat the price of (...), for three dolls. Their hair is easy to style, and very pretty. Their faces are absoloutley beautiful. What a real gem these dolls are for a parent weary of the "too adult" fashion dolls. These dolls are great! I hope mattel comes out with more products for these dolls.

This was given to my 3 year old daughter and I was so excited to see an alternative to the "adult" look of Barbie, Bratz, etc. These girls have rounder faces, thicker legs, and more realistic figures. She loves them just as much and they come with lots of accessories to dress them up! This is a great alternative if you feel Barbie, etc. is too old for your child.

I recently went shopping for the daughter's 4th birthday and spotted these dolls at a local Walmart. Not only did I like the price of these darlings; I instantly fell in love with these dolls and I knew my two daugthers would also. They have been played with everyday since they were given to her. They are so great for little girls who like playing with Barbies. I really loved the diversity in the character of these dolls also. I am anxious for Christmas shopping and seeing what else is going to be created to go with these dolls....

How can anyone like Bratz? They wear too much make-up and ugly clothes. They are terrible! They have little skiny bodys and they have big fat heads!! These are much better, trust me!!
These dolls are beautiful, and they are not "LAME! LAME! LAME!" like some Bratz fan said. People must be insane to like Bratz. These dolls are very pretty. You can hardly see the make-up (May i also say they are NOT 8 years old!!)

I purchesed this set in June with my honors money and i absolutly adore it...Who cares if they're not the same?! In my opinion, these are grown-up versions of the origionals...Stacie, Janet and Whitney, though i think it was a mistake to change some names of the dolls..Stacie is soo lovely in this set! Her eyes are a beutiful blue and her hair has either streeks or highlights....(Whitney has red hair and copper streeks but i forget what Janet has) This is a FUN! FUN! FUN! SET!!

Hey, i'm curious about what happened to cute, little Whitney. I have the skatboard Whitney that i got from " famous toy liqudators" in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada, and she's sooo cute, and i'm wondering why Whitney isn't in the Stacie dolls anymore. Hey, i often go on Barbie.com and write b-mails to mattel, and told them it would be a great idea to have new Stacie dolls, and hey, they followed by what i said. I'm telling the pure truth. It REALLY was my idea. Ok, about these dolls, they're cute, cool, and fun, but i want to know the truth about cute, little Whitney.
