Our daughter bought this item with a gift card for her 7th birthday. She loves Mermaids and Rapunzel so this is a perfect combination for her. The hair tangles easily becuase of the length (but that is inevitable with hair this long.) She enjoys braiding and twisting the hair, and experimenting to make new hair styles. The stars attach to the hair with velcro. My daughter used them the first day, but I don't expect them to be used often. The doll fits into other Barbie clothes so my daughter enjoys dressing her up also. (I think it is a bonus to have the tail when she wants a mermaid, but to also have the option to dress her as a human.) I think this doll was everything that my daughter was hoping for! She is very pleased with her decision, and so are we.

As a first time buyer I was very reluctant but this shopping experience went perfectly. The item arrived in absolutely perfect condition, the box was in perfect shape, no dents no tears, it was in perfect mint condition.
