This is the second [] version of Barbie as Wonder Woman. The costume is nicely done (with shorts in place of Wondy's more revealing panties) and some glitter has been added to her belt and chest emblem. The face on this dolls looks gorgeous too! She looks beautiful like Wonder Woman should! Meant for kids but collector's won't be able to keep their hands off this one!

I was surprised to hear that mattel was producing another wonder woman doll when they had opened their pop culture series with a beautiful wonder woman doll in 1999. I thought "there is no way that this doll will compare",but I was dead wrong! This doll is simply stunning!! I love almost everything about her. The outfit,bracelets, tiara , belt and boots all look amazing and unlike the 1999 doll the stars on her shorts go all the way around as opposed to just the front. Her hair is shorter but looks very natural and i love her darker skin complextion, which makes her look more greek. The only issue(which is minor) is her bendy arms. i realize that this is a childs toy and they will love to bend her arms in many ways. My concern, being an adult collector is the affect time will have on the bendy arms, Whether
or not they will crack or split over time or if any wires will poke through(etc). But please don't let this concern keep you from buying this wonderful doll either as a gift or for your collection. And you cannot beat the 15.99 price for this great barbie collectable.

We recently purchased the Wonder Woman doll for our four year old daughter who also happens to be a big fan. She was as amazed as we were at the detail of the wardrobe and all the accessories, like her bracelets and crown. This doll also comes with a stand and miniature lunchbox. Our only disappointment was that the wardrobe does not include Wonder Woman's cape. I agree with the other reviews that the doll should have more points of articulation in the arms and legs. This is a great value for any admirer of the Amazon Princess!

I have already purchased the original first version of WW available back in 2000 at $50 a pop. Needless to say that this version is now here but with better boots and somewhat easier to fix hair. The outfit is still a little flimsy but what can you expect. Overall, i like this doll except for her weird face and arms. Thos arms are like two crazy worms! The original had only a few better things like a cape with stars, curly black mountainous hair, and nicer arms that did not look like two worms. The packaging on this is much simple since it is not an exclusively over priced Wonder Woman figure. What I do like is that this womderwoman figure you can open and play with or just display while saving the 2000 edition in the closet. I also do not like her star underwear thingy. It's not that flattering but it soes have better and more stars on both front and back. You can go ahead and remove the emblem on her chest and (if you are craetive and picky like me) make aother one by using embroidery! I just don't understand that little lunchbox or purse thing?

I don't think of this doll as Barbie dressed up as Wonder Women I think of her as a Barbie brand Wonder Women. She is the best representation of Wonder Women in doll form I have seen. I prefer the old school Wonder Women before she got all 'ripped'. Wonder Women to me is a classy, stylish, strong, intelligent women capable of anything and as such an excellent role model, hence I give this doll 5 stars for education because it is the perfect representation of that Wonder Women. My only complaint is that I would have liked to see her come with a Diana Prince suite as well.

I have all the DC Comics Barbies (except the very expensive Catwoman), and I've been impressed with the detail to their costumes. I do NOT like the bendy bodies, though, so I've customized all mine using the articulated bodies from Western Barbies, turning them into more of an action figure. Mattel would do well to start making most of their Barbies with these bodies, which have fully articulated arms, legs and waists. Overall, these are not bad figures, and it would be great if Mattel made some more of DC's female heroes and villains. (In the meantime, I've got plans to make my own Black Canary and Zatanna... POWER OF FISHNETS!)

I brought this as a gift. It arrived in timely manner and in great condition. This is sure to be a collectors item oneday. If you follow DC comics at all, you'll see this is based on the Wonder Woman from the Justice League Unlimited series.

After viewing the recently released T.V. shows( Available through Warner Bros.) I have recently gained a new respect for Wonder Woman. I purchsed this doll as a collector, and she will remain safe in her box on display. This will become worth quite alot of money in the future, maybe in about 20yrs. I have been collecting comic memorabilia for the past 15 to 20 yrs. and have seen everything go up in value, and believe that this will be something that a collector must have.

My 16 year old is a avid barbie collector. It was great to be able to buy her a barbie from my childhood. She was so excited when she recieved it, her and I had looked at the doll several times in the store before I decided to go a head and get it for her.

Wonder Woman has beautiful hair. She looks like the wonder woman on TV. I can keep her in her stand on my dresser or make her fly with the supergirl Barbie and get the bad guys. I can make her arms and legs move and bend. I like my wonder woman Barbie a lot.
