This beautiful glossy book is a real bargain at the price that Amazon is selling. Even if you do not play the piano or guitar, you can sing along with Barbra when you play the cd. As for me, I bought it for the final song ONE GOD and I am playing my digital piano and singing this song everyday. It helps me to appreciate just how well Barbra sang this song when I am actually singing it myself.

I purchased this book specifically for the counter-melody line in "Ave Maria", and was extremely disappointed that the music contains only the main melody line. All of the original music is beautiful (otherwise why would one look for the piano/vocal book?) but as for the arrangements of the songs contained here, this book leaves a lot to be desired. Good purchase if you're looking for basic music and have a pianist with a good ear and can expand on what is written on the page, but as written it is pretty sparse. If I had found the book in a store to hold in my hands and actually flip through, I would have left it on the shelf.
