I've tried every razor bump solution on the market.

By changing my shaving habits and switching to Bump down, razor bumps are a thing of the past.

I am Black and I've had razor bump problems as a teenager and most of my adulthood up until now.

This is what I did to get rid of the bumps:

1. Mach 3 razor (i've tried all razors including merkur straight edge with badger brush and soap). I always end up coming back to Mach 3

2. shave in the shower!! As soon as you get in the shower, let the hot water run over your face and neck for about 3 minutes or until your hair is nice and supple. (soft hair is just as important as any razor bump solution)Put on your favorite shaving cream (thicker the better) and let your face and neck marinate for a few while you wash the rest of your body.

3. Shave nice and easy with a sharp Mach 3 Razor. Another cool thing about the mach 3 that separates it from the rest is how easy the hair rinses off.

4. Exit the shower, and "pat" dry your face. Do not scrub, or else you'll irritate your skin.

5. Place a dime size amount of Bump Down in the Palm of your hand and massage it onto your face and neck just like any other lotion.

If you follow this guide I guarantee you will be razor bump free in less than a week.

Trust me, I'm black with hair of steel. I hope this review is helpful.

A friend of mine gave me a sample of Barc's Bump Down and i tried it (even though the cynic in me was ready for just another useless lotion that did little of what it promised to)

HOWEVER! was I in for a surprise! A happy great surprise. I have already gone out and bought bottles for me and my sister, and we both LOVE IT! This product not only got rid of my razor bumps and patches that i have from ingrown hairs, but I haven't seen any new ones since. Bump Down also has chamomile and glycerin to keep your skin hydrated, while it remains alcohol-free and unscented. It's awesome for staying smooth and moist- including the face and bikini area! My legs have never looked FIIIIINer! :)

My face has been a mess ever since i first started shaving and I had to grow a beard for awhile because it got so bad. I have used everything and it didnt do much to help. i picked this stuff up as soon as i could and its become my cure. Happy holidays people! buy this stuff it really works !

I had some really bad ingrown hairs. Being African American, I thought it was something I just had to deal with and it would eventually go away. Will it did! I've used The Princereigns Ingrown gel, Bump Patrol, and others. Nothing works like Barc's Bump Down. Princereigns does make your hair softer, but didn't get rid of my bumps. If your African American like I am and suffering from ingrown hairs, there is some help here in Barcs

I have a 16 year old autistic brother and recently he developed ugly, big, red razor bumps at the back of his head. My family and I did not know what to do about it. We went to the doctor and he suggested giving my brother shots to the head. That was something we could not do. My mother's boyfriend told us about Bump Down and brought us a container. Within a week, the bumps went down and dried up. Now his head is practically flawless. It works. and it's cheap.

My friend recommended this product to me, Bump Down by Barc, and as soon as i started using it i noticed great results and improvements on my skin. It's not stinky or sticky and my skin actually feels good and looks better. I recommend this product to anyone that's had problems with troubled skin due to shaving or anything else. it's smoooooth and sweet.

I have tried everything to relieve my razor bumps. This works !!!!!!!!!!

I use a wahl razor and bump relief after wards and my bumps have disappeared.

I notice that even some dark old bruises on my face are fading and almost gone.

I recommend it highly.

I am a black man with very curly hair. I have used Andis T-edgers for over 15yrs due to the very bad ingrown hairs/razor bumps I recieved when I shaved. I even still got them using the T-edgers but just not as severe. I read reviews here on Amazon about this product along with scouring the internet and reviewing many other products and decided to give barc a try, I have tried princereigns and others with no success...they may have worked if I followed the proper grooming techniques....Here are the steps that work for me while using Barc:

- Wash face with Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser, Oil Free, let is sit on the face for about 30 seconds before rinsing off.

- Pat dry your face

- Shave with Andis T-Edgers, I also sharpen up my line and reshape the back of my neck

- Rub on Barc....BURNS LIKE CRAZZY!!! and it STINKS!! but you get used to it.

- Wash your face and use Barc at least twice a day. Especially make sure you use the Barc after every shave.

I have been using the Barc for about 3 weeks now...and I have to say I am very impressed...no more razor bumps!! I have to admit...I still have a few on the back of my neck, but they do not hurt and they are definitely less then what it used to be.

I feel so confident in this product that I am going to attemp to shave again...I want the closeness of a shave and all of you know...T-edjers can't achieve this. I also done extensive reviews of proper shaving techniques and have decided to try the electric razor...Panasonic ARC 4 Blade NanoTech Rechargeable Shaver with Vortex (Model ES8249)...I've also heard the Gillette Mach 3 using a good shaving Gel works great also...If the Electric razor fails me I will try the Gillette Mach 3.

Thats right folks..I had unsightly discoloration and ingrown hairs under my chin..and now that is a thing of the past.

What i normally do is wash with a loofah on the affected area with Noxema for its antiseptic properties then I wet shave or use the barbers blades to shave. When I am done i put the Barc bump down on, and trust me you are going to see a substantial difference within a week. Plus it has a neutral smell, more like a medicated lotion..

Two things you have to look out for..make sure your barber is properly cleaning the blades before he cuts your hair..avoid those that cut someone elses hair then cuts yours with out properly sanitizing the blade..that helps alot too.

Lastly, use this stuff before and after you get your hair cut for best results.
