I bought this guitar for my grandson for Christmas...however, I'm going to give it to my grand-daughter for a first guitar. (I bought my grandson a different one).
The guitar itself is beautiful. I was impressed.
The strings are soft and "buzzy". I bought other strings and will restring it after I give it to her.
The guitar does have a nice sound quality, and projects quite well.
I'm having a hard time fitting the guitar into it's case, but Austin Bazar has assured me this is the correct case. When I recieved the guitar it did not include the accessories as described, but when I contacted Austin Bazar they had them here in a couple of days. They have great cusomer contact people. Thanks
The strap that came with is kind of ugly...but that's not hard to remedy.
For a first guitar you can't beat the price!!! and new strings were only about $8.00
I'd recommed this set.

While we were more than satisfied with the guitar ( we got what we paid for ) it was the little things that really annoyed us. First, the strap shown in the photo is not the strap that comes with the guitar. The strap that came was made for a guitar with two pegs - this guitar has one strap peg on the bottom making the strap that was sent totally useless. Second, the vinyl bag is very cheap and was torn along the zipper. Third, the photo shows 3 picks - only one is sent. Fourth, the photo would make you believe you are getting a second set of strings - you aren't. Only three strings are sent; the sixth, fifth and fourth. The guitar itself is more than adequate for a beginner ( it's made in China )and the reduced price is a great deal. I have contacted the seller with my concerns and will wait to pass judgement until I see if they resolve these issues.

it's a pretty good guitar if you're a beginner. it came with all that it said it would. except that the strap is too short. and my bag is ripped when i got it. but the guitar was in good condition. although in the picture it has a white trim, mine didn't come with a white trim around the body. it was just straight black. but i don't mind much. it's still a good starter guitar.

We liked the look of the guitar and it did not sound bad when we got it. Now we have had the guitar for 5 months (they only guarantee for 30 days) and the bridge has ripped out of the body. The guitar is trash now and Austin Bazaar doesn't really care. That is hard for a fellow Texan to say but it is the truth. If you want this guitar for looking at, it would be fine. If you really want to play a guitar, stay away from Austin Bazaar!

I bought this guitar hoping to learn how to play before sinking a bunch of money into one. It was delivered with a crack in the bridge and a crack in the body. I took it up to my local Guitar Center and they also said it looked as if it was broken and then fixed. They were afraid to tune it for fear of the strings ripping the bridge off. Needless to say, returning for refund.

I was quite satisfied with this guitar. I did not get any picks and the zipper for my bag was broken, but that's not so bad, there are 2 zippers and it's still usable. The strap is for a guitar with 2 pegs and this guitar only had one. So I strung the hole with a shoelace and tied it to the guitar, it's good enough for me. (My friend got a similar strap, and there's nothing wrong tying it down.) The guitar is beautiful and has great, bright sound. They send you the top three strings (which is the bottom), since the bottom strings (which is the top) are thicker and don't break as easily.

Beautiful instrument, with fine tone. As an intermediate player, this was a step up from my last guitar, and the striking colors are a hit with my dorm mates. A bargain at this price, and the extras are great.

this is a decent guitar for the money i spent on it. wasn't expecting much but all in all a good guitar. Bought it because my 9 y/o son wanted to play mine and it's way too valuable for that. now I just hope he gets as intrested in it as he is in his games. Great shipping speed, would DEFINETLY order from them again.

Was just what I asked for. Was in two shipments. Maybe I missed that in the order. Otherwise, the product was fantastic and at a very reasonable price!!

I intentionally got this guitar for my dad for his birthday but I think I'm the one who plays it the most. It's a beautiful sound, beautiful guitar. It came to me in great shape and I've had it for a few months and I can't stop playing it.
