This little amp will blow your socks off. It is ideal for the first time player, with good tone, especially if you add an overdrive or chorus pedal. Don't let the low price fool you.

This is a great practice amp for the price. Very good sound for such a small size.

This is a very good Beginner Amp for a new Guitar player. It is basic,
in that it puts out great sounds and is easy to opperate. The price was
also very resonable. Great and easy, thats a good way to be. This unit
is also great for moving around and road trips, not very heavy.

I purchased for my 12 year old son to use to learn the electric guitar (he has a Fender strat) it is a great size, though smaller than I expected, and seems to work very well for this purpose. I like the looks of it too. Seems like a good deal.

Not that it matters a whole lot, but the amp I received doesn't exactly resemble the photo.

The good:
It's cheaply priced and was shipped very promptly with tracking information provided. It also came with a guitar chord which wasn't mentioned in the description. Parents will probably love this amp for their kids. It does what it's supposed to do. A young beginner will probably be very happy with this amp.

The bad:
The sound. Not the best sound quality. But then again what can you expect for 40 bucks.

The ugly:
My decision to worry about saving 20 bucks by buying this amp instead of a Fender Frontman 15 watt amp. But that's my fault, not Austin Bazaar's.

Conclusion:
If you're looking for a small amp for your kid's first guitar, this is probably a decent option. But if your looking for a small practice amp with decent sound, this might not be your best choice.

these 10 watts guitar amps can sure give your electric quite a blasts!!!!!!!

Just bought the amp, and works better than I thought it would. Nice clean sound, and so far a nice overdrive bite when the gain is turned all the way up. Also it has fairly decent volume when the boost button in on.

There are a couple things not told about the product

Size of Amp (inches): 11" x 4.5" x 4"

Comes with a 108 inch long chord

and looks more like: [...]

except it has an Austin Bazaar logo on the top left, and no red light on the top right.

In short, I highly recommend this amp for anyone who wants a quality and highly portable amplifier.

We ended up with 2 cables because we couldn't tell if a cable came with it. You had listed under Other people orsdered a cable for it so we ordered it. I ended up with 2 cables.

I was searching for a small, high quality amp for about a week when I found this amp. I saw it had the best ratings, and by far the best comments so I purchased it. It arrived on time the next day, and with a cable which was a nice surprise because I wasn't sure if I needed to purchase one, and it wasn't listed in the product description. It's a perfect size for a small to medium room, and puts out an impressive amount of sound for such a little box. In my opinion this is the best 10 watt amp for its price range, and even that of much more expensive amps. I am very much impressed with the quality as well as the price, and would recommend this to anyone who is in the market for an amp of this wattage.

My 8 year old daughter wanted an electric guitar so we bought one and purchased this amp. Perfect for a young child beginning to play with an amp.
