5.0 out of 5 stars Very cool tablecloth!
I read about these tablecloths in Good Housekeeping so I figured you couldn't go wrong. I was right! This tablecloth is made of pop bottles. Believe it or not, it feels just like fabric. The weave is very attractive and there are several colors. When your son drips his drink on it, the liquid just beads up. When you throw it in the washer and dryer it comes out perfectly...

1.0 out of 5 stars Returned it!
I was as excited as you can be about a tablecloth when I ordered it. The other positive reviews made it sound absolutely wonderful, but my experience was not. I wash everything before I use it so I followed the instructions on the package to clean it before it's first use. When I removed it from the machine, I was shocked to discover several long snags in the fabric...

The weave is very attractive and there are several colors. When your son drips his drink on it, the liquid just beads up. When you throw it in the washer and dryer it comes out perfectly. I've never bought a tablecloth, so I can't really compare prices, but I sure think it's worth the money!Bardwil Evolution 52 by 70-Inch Oblong / Rectangle Tablecloth, Merlot

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it!, August 26, 2009

Love this tablecloth. It seems impossible to stain. Liquids just bead up. My daughter spilled barbeque sauce and even that didn't stick. I will be buying more colors!

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful and eco-friendly!, September 11, 2010
I LOVE this tablecloth! Liquids truly bead up on it, which makes cleanup very easy. The woven pattern looks really nice, but if you wear any rings with stones, be careful when handling the cloth because the woven pattern could get pulled. The cloth washes and dries perfectly with no wrinkles. My only complaint is that the merlot is a darker red than how it is pictured online. I wish a truer red was offered in addition to the merlot color. However, I will definitely purchase this tablecloth in other colors in the future!

1.0 out of 5 stars Returned it!, January 9, 2012
I was as excited as you can be about a tablecloth when I ordered it. The other positive reviews made it sound absolutely wonderful, but my experience was not. I wash everything before I use it so I followed the instructions on the package to clean it before it's first use. When I removed it from the machine, I was shocked to discover several long snags in the fabric causing it to bunch up in several places on the tablecloth similar to runs in pantyhose. Since it's recycled plastic fabric, I'm not even sure how to accurately describe what happened other than to say that the washing made the table cloth worthless. I returned it immediately for a refund. I really wanted to love this and buy more, but it was such a waste of time and effort. I'll continue to buy real cloth from now on.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best tablecloth I ever bought, July 18, 2011

Almost 100% waterproof, and incredibly easy to clean, but without the nasty finish of a vinyl tablecloth - it's nice enough to use for company. I'll definitely stock up on a couple more of these.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great tablecloth, but...., November 10, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I got this after reading reviews about how great it is with kids and after I grew weary of having a vinyl tablcloth. It IS great, repels spills, and you can just blot them up. It is wrinkle free right out of the dryer-a big plus, because I don't have time to iron a tablecloth. However, I'm not sure if I got a defective product or not, but after the first time I washed it (by itself), it had a few snags that occurred. After a few more times of washing it, the snags became more and more, until my tablecloth became knotted and knarled because of so many snagged threads. I contacted Amazon, and they quickly replaced it, because I hadn't read of anyone else having this problem. I'm hoping I just got a defective one the first time because I really like this tablecloth, and it makes it easy to have a pretty table with 3 young boys. I plan to update how this new one does after it's been washed several times.

This review is from: Bardwil Evolution 60 by 120-Inch Oblong / Rectangle Tablecloth, Sea (Kitchen)
I needed a last-minute Easter tablecloth for our large dining room table. This did the trick. The color is a nice robins egg blue and the texture made it a little interesting. I looked very nice and laundered well.

4.0 out of 5 stars Mine Snagged, Too, but I Love Them, Anyway, February 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I had bought several of these to use on folding buffet tables instead of disposable tablecloths, and I washed them together by themselves before their first use. All but one snagged in the washing machine (on what, I don't know). I needed them for the party that day, so I just stretched out the snags and used them anyway. I'm still using them regularly. Although I'm not all that enamored of the waffle pattern, and I have to stretch snags out every time I wash them, for me, it's worth it: I love the way liquid beads up on them, and I love that they don't need to be ironed. Spaghetti sauce came out of one without even using stain treatment. Besides - each tablecloth used to be 45 plastic water bottles.
