The lost gem,
This review is from: Bare Bones & Barbed Wire (Audio CD)
Out of any hipe, an immigrant, american songwriter Tom Pacheco has it all but fame, real protest songs, that once would have labelled him as the new Dylan, an added touch of his adopted country Ireland make him one of the most urgent and immediate singer sogwriters of his generation. In this two hour+ dbl set Pacheco uses only his voice and his guitar to sing some new and old songs and in its way this is an almost unique venture, that I would put as one of the best vocal/guitars cd's of all time. Few people know how good this guy is, but many will know it in the future. If you like folk, 60's music, and great songwriting don't skip this cd.

A True Story Teller,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Bare Bones & Barbed Wire (Audio CD)
I don't give 5 stars out easily, but the content of this CD rates up there with the likes of Harry Chapin, Loudon Wainwright, and Simon & Garfunkel. What you get is a man, his guitar, and his intellect. At first I was concerned with the CD becoming tedious. How interesting can 30 songs be with the same singer, no band or voice backups, and no electronic wizardry? The answer is I was stunned at how good it was. I sat and listened to 135 minutes of pure entertainment. The talent Pacheco possesses is real and deep. This is a rare & expensive CD, but if you're a fan of story tellers, you must add this to your collection.
