I have been using this product for over a year. It is cheaper to buy it here even with the shipping costs.

It is important to use this product properly. Get a good brush, and before applying, tap the extra powder off and buff it on. If you apply too much of it and don't buff it, it can look weird. Mineral veil is meant as a topper coat over the bare Escentuals foundation powder. The mineral veil topper powder really makes my skin look naturally even in tone.

I do sometimes wear the foundation powder without mineral veil but my face looks so much better if I take the 30 seconds to do this final step.

Not a single qualm about the product, but if some of these deals on Amazon seem too good to be true, there's reason to practice caution. I purchased this after reading the fine print carefully. No mention was made about the size, but since it was "reduced" from $18 retail (full size price), I ordered it. Alas, what arrived was .14 oz small travel size Mineral Veil. I was disappointed, but learned my lesson: be very careful with some of these prices and sellers. Won't be fooled again.

I have been using Bare Minerals foundation for years, so I am familiar with it's limitations regarding lotions and the like. I always made sure to wait hours before applying the powder foundation after my moisturizer.

Then I found Mineral Veil. It absorbs any excess oil, so I can apply my foundation immediately! It also helps when I need extra coverage, to cover a sunburn or any kind of redness.

Be sure you follow the SWIRL, TAP and BUFF instructions closely, or you will not be happy with your results. It takes practice, but it is totally worth the wait.
