For years, I have used a loose powder to combat oily skin. As the years have ticked by however, my skin has gotten drier (Michigan winters are brutal). A dermatologist told me that in order to compensate for the dryness, skin will produce more oil (typically in t zone area). My skin has been a disaster for the last 2 winters. And then, I tried a sample of Bare Escentuals mineral veil...Wow. A powder that actually seems to hydrate my skin & really deal with the oil. I need to reapply this product although not for about 6 hours after the 1st application. I am so pleased with mineral veil that I can not imagine using anything else.

This is wonderful for oily skin types. Also, I have heard complaints about mineral veil, but the trick is to use sparingly. Again, great stuff!

Love the product but was disappointed in the delivery from vendor-and when I asked for tracking information did not get a proper answer. They were very vague! IT took two weeks to get this item, I had ordered a number of items at the same time and they are arrived before specified date or earlier. OTHER wise I love the Bare Minerals line and do not use anything else.

Mineral veil completes my makeup routine, no matter how little or how much makeup I use on a given day. However, I found that I definately like the illuminating mineral veil better. This is more of a matte finish. The illuminating mineral veil brightens up the face more.

I have used this product for quite a while and it is superb! It give you a finished matte look without caking, so smooth.

I love Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil. I have oily skin and using bare escentuals products is the only way I keep it under control. Buying from Amazon is a plus - I can get more for a reduced price.

I have used Bare Escential products for several years and I love them. They cover really well, and, as a powder, does not sit in the lines of my face. My skin is in Great condition even though I used to sun A LOT! Anyway, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Bare Escentials, they DO live up to their name and claims.
