I think this set is awesome. The directions are very informative with pictures and everything! and for someone like me, who doesn't have much eye makeup experience, this is great. I highly recommend this set for anyone who wants to learn the basics of applying eyeshadow.

This is an awesome day-time eye kit! I normally don't wear eye makeup during the day, but if I do these are the colors I wear because its nice, light and natural. I love the brushes, especially the defining brush! I also love the eye-liner and liner brush because you can't see that you're wearing eye liner (doesn't leave a thick line) but definitely lines and defines your eyes. I can even wear it on my bottom lash line. Definitely worth the money for the 4 powders and 3 brushes!

This is a great product, easy to use, it looks very natural. I will be ordering more and want to order other items other than what came with my starter kit. I have used other high end cosmetics that you can only buy in the bigger department stores, and have paid a lot of money in the past for those cosmetics. I feel that Bare Escentuals is as equal if not better than what I have previously bought.

This is a great starter kit for anyone who has never used eye makeup before. The nature of the creamy powder makes the colors blend well so mistakes are nearly impossible. You can add water to create different, more dynamic looks.

The DVD provides the user with a very simple 2-minute technique for great eyes. It's easy (and I am make-up incompetent)! If you have never used make-up before you should buy it. It sounds pricey for such small amounts but it goes a LONG way! It will probably last you a year.

i had the privilage of trying this make-up out before I actually bought it and I must say, that is the main reason why I bought myself a kit in the first place. I did not believe this make-up could do everything they claim, but it really does. I love it. It is the only make-up I use. It makes me feel polished and refined. Love it. Highly recommended.

I am a big fan of Bare Minerels, they are great for my skin, I use the foundation everyday, so i decided to try the eyes kit, and i am quite dissapointed: the colors are just plain and quite common and they don't stay long and fade easyly. I rather keep using my Make up forever and Bobbi Brown ones....

I love this kit. When I'm rushed, this kit allows me to do my eyes quickly. I don't have to think of color combinations or brushes to use. The tutorial explains how to use each product and brush. As someone who normally wears no make up, the tutorial was very helpful. I never liked wearing make up until I started using Bare Escentuals. My eyes are hazel, and this kit complimented them nicely. I know people with brown eyes and grey eyes who also use this kit. Warning: this make up makes a mess in your sink! I hate this aspect of the product. Sometimes I'd rather not wear make up than deal with the messy sink.

The good: the colors are natural and flattering, the instructional dvd is available, the brushes that accompany the set make this valuable.
What prevents this from being great: too time consuming for the morning rush (opening each jar, using the right brush for each step), colors are close in shade making me check the bottom for their placement, sometimes the powder sprinkles a bit on my clothing or cheek.
Suggestions for improvement: two-sided brushes, include compartment/organizers for the small powder containers.
Maybe it will become better over time, and maybe it would be easier if I had a vanity to set all my make up out instead of a make-up bag which is taken out and put away afterward, but for a working mother it isn't the most practical choice of make up.

Though I absolutely LOVE bareMinerals foundation and Primer, I am NOT in love with the eye kit. I already had brushes and I expected more colors. As it is, I can only use the "Fashionista" shado and it is supposed to be the eyeliner! I use that one as a contour shade because it goes the best with my carmel complexion. Thank goodness I kept my expresso eyeliner! I will use this up because it was expensive but in the future, I will stick with store bought eyeshadow.
