I got the Rose Crepe color and it IS PERFECT! This stuff glides on soft and smooth, wears like your fav lip balm. You know how lipstick can feel gooey or cloggy on your lips after awhile. This stiff is not like most lipsticks. My lips feel like they are wearing nothing at all, just smooth and soft. The color really does last for a long time sort of fades away into a nice berry stain so there's none of that awkward half on, half off lipstick look that you might get with most lipsticks. The best lip product I have ever tried. The color is perfect for me too, I think Rose Crepe would look good on most skin tones (I'm Black with lighter skin) since it pretty much matches what most people's lip color looks like anyway, just darker for a "bitten" look.

I'm a lip gloss junkie. I have boxes and boxes chock full of all sorts of glosses. It's like a disease. :) My fave are NARS and MAC, but I like these natural line of BE glosses a lot. They have this particular shimmer that's different than the others I have (I assume it's the minerals glinting). Pomegranate is my fave of the line as it's a flattering rich berry shade on my medium-dark olive coloring.

Many of these BE Natural glosses have very little actual color. The Sangria has so little pigment, it's more like a nude gloss on me. The Pomegranate, however, has nice pigmentation. Spice Cake is my second fave color (after Pomegranate), and it's a warm reddish brown that is medium-level pigmentation, neither too dark or light. It gives a nice swash of warm red-brown, earthy shade combined with that lovely mineralish shimmer. Good for darker ladies as well as warmer toned lighter ladies.

If you love glosses--and not everyone does--you might wanna try these. The scent is like a bakery vanilla (not as nice as the MAC vanilla cake scent, but it's fine). It's durability is fine and it has a nice thickish consistency. (I hate runny glosses.) It's shimmer is pretty and makes lips look plumper. The cupuacu butter keeps lips nicely moisturized. It contains no pthalates, parabens, petrochemicals, synthetic fragrances, syntehtic dyes, or sulfates--which is a good thing.

A good product for gloss lovers. If only they could get more shades with higher pigmentation.

I own this lipstick in Italian Ice and really love the color. However, this lipstick is difficult to apply. It goes on very dry - not creamy and smooth at all. Once on, it stays in place and the color stays true for a long time, but it is so dry that my lips start to chap by midday. So I've started using a clear gloss over the top just to add a bit of shine and moisture. I'm not sure I'd buy this product again, given the price. I have much less expensive lipsticks from drugstore brands that I like much better and that don't dry my lips.

I am not thrilled with this lipstick. The Ripe Fig color is pretty and the staying power is okay. However, the product itself isn't very soft, which makes it difficult to apply. You need to press hard to really see the color on your lips. That's nothing compared to the smell, though, which is NASTY. I know these are natural products, but I am all in favor of BE adding some artificial fragrances to this stuff to make it smell better. I will not repurchase.

I am disappointed with this lipstick. The color is nothing like what is shown on the screen (I have rose crepe), it feels drying, it comes off on everything and is totally gone within an hour. And I've never needed lip liner before but with how much this lipstick feathers, it is required now. This is sad because I like several other Bare Escentuals products.

I just wish there was a smaller tester size so I could actually try and see for myself what I was putting on. Not knowing about the color amaretto, I just went by the picture displayed but found the color slightly different than the picture.

I love these products, especially because they are natural. This one on the other hand is a hit and miss. It is nothing like the other lipsticks I've purchased in stores that are soft, silky & smooth to apply. The texture of this one is like a hard wax that is hard to apply and feels sticky on.
The price is fine for a not so great product, but for the real thing I'd rather pay full price.
Color is great too, if only the formula were like all the others I've tried and loved in the past.

I have previously purchased this same brand and colour lipstick from a leading department store here in Adelaide, South Australia. They then stopped carrying this range and I was very disappointed. I checked on line and was amazed to find the exact colour I needed and at a quarter of the price! Imagine my happiness! Naturally, I will be purchasing this Lipstick again. Smooth and creamy. Stays on. No feathering. Brilliant red.

I bought this lip gloss because it has no preservatives, parabens and artificial dyes. Natural oils hydrate and add shine, with the minerals for color. I'm highly sensitive, so must exercise care in products, especially around the mouth. This does not cause any problems in that dept and delivers in great color, highlights and a smooth finish w/o feeling heavy or waxy. Great stuff! '

Great natural color and mixes well with other colors. A little tacky at first but this helps color stay on longer. Softens up when mixed with other lipsticks or lip balm. Love it!
