My husband had one of these drill for 7 years. When it went down he decided to by a new one instead of repairing the old one. He wanted this one because he already had the battery and charger from other bosch tools. He only has to carry 3 batteries and one charger because they all run on the same power system now. It saves him room on the truck and means less to carry on the jobsite. He gave the old one to one of the guys at work. It was repaired and now going strong. My husband found the bosch tools some years ago after the company that he used before was buy out and the quality of their products went down. He is the only one at work that runs with bosch everyone else is use the other company. He has used the same drill/screw gun for 3 years where the other guys are replacing their every year or more. He use the drill every day for 6 plus hours a day. He will only use bosch and the company won't supply him with bosch as his boss says to expensive. He says he can't afford to has tools down or in for repairs as it cost him money. My husband has been in construction for over 20 twenty years and has used many types of tools but now it is only bosch. Good job to bosch for making a quality product that a working man can count on to bring home the bacon. Thanks for offering the bare bones for the guy already running with your power system.
