The Hitachi DH18DLP4 tool body is compatible with all Hitachi Li Ion, NiCd and NiMH 18V batteries. The Hitachi DH18DLP4 features an Electro-Pneumatic mechanism that produces 1 foot pound of impact energy. Being compact and lightweight, the Hitachi DH18dLP4 is perfect for overhead drilling. The Hitachi DH18DLP4 is equipped with and idle strike restrictor to prevent no-load hammering and eliminates uneccessary wear on integral parts. The Hitachi DH18DLP4 is also equipped with a slip clutch to protect the user as well as the tool gears in the event of a bound bit.
