This tool performed up to my expected performance. I'am a mechanic and general maintainance man and use all types of power tools. It does lack brute power but for small quick jobs and ease of use and light weight it is the best.

I can't imagine life before cordless tools. Especially cordless drivers. I seem to find a use for one on just about every project around the house or garage. However, sometimes I don't need the big 18V drill/driver. Many times this 12V Subcompact does just fine.As the name implies, this is a driver, not a drill. It tops out at 500 rpm so if you need to drill holes you need either patience or a different tool. But for driving screws or small nuts and bolts, this thing is tops. Small enough to get into tight places, light enough to use for hours, and powerful enough to do most jobs. Battery life is good, recharge time is fast, and the battery level indicator means you won't be surprised by a low battery. The 1/4 inch quick release chuck accepts lots of tool bits and works great. I'm becoming a big fan of Milwaukee's M12 family.

We added this drill to our supply of Milwaukee 12 volts. We restore aircraft and all of our
tool replacements over the last 5 years have been going to Milwaukee and we have not replaced a Milwaukee item yet. We have three of these and use them every day for at least 2 hours each day. This is a no-brainer. j
