This book was surprisingly entertaining, compelling and original in plot. I was able to relate to the characters and the world created by the writer is full and rich. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Fantasy with a little romance.

I did not know what this book was about at all but it turned out to be a pretty good little book. This is not what I normally read. I would say this book is for teenagers but I enjoyed it and I'm a lot older than that! This book is #2 of three.

I'm a very eclectic reader. I read a wide range of genres. I found this trilogy entertaining and a twist on the Mermaid culture that's a little different from other stories I've read. The choices that Ever and her brother James make are tough. I liked how they grew from the first book. Their transition encouraged by the unusual situations they find themselves in.

I'd recommend all three books of the trilogy because each ends on a hook where you have to buy the next book to find out what happened. The only downside for some readers. Though not for me.

After reading the first book to the Just Breathe Trilogy, I had to continue the adventure and find out where Ever and her brother James would end up. As they fight for what is right and for who they love keeps me turning the pages to the end. I will be starting the third and final book of the series to see how it will all end.
I recommend this book and a must read, especially if you have read the first book, Just Breathe.
