The United Kingdom has never been short on hard rock talent. The new wave of hard rock bands coming out of Europe, and in the case of Wired Desire, from Scotland, gives me high hopes for the future of rock. One band that is making a lot of noise as of late is the five piece group, Wired Desire. This amazing quintet has the hard edge of AC/DC, the swagger of Guns 'N Roses, and a great sound that should help pave their path to success. The band has youth on their side (the average age of WIred Desire's five members are 21) and are showing a ton of promise with their new EP, Barely Illegal. Daly has a great rock voice. He has that rough edge style that I love to hear. The guitar tandem of Jam and Eddy are already making names for themselves in their young career. The record labels (what is left of them) ought to be lining up to sign these guys, and get it done quickly
