I'll keep this short and sweet. This product does not work. Don't waste your time or money. I didn't want to give it even one star.

It didn't work for my dog, but it may work for others. I just know in my case it was a waste of money. Good thing it was inexpensive...

We tried this with our yappy shih tzu. He barked at anyone walking by the house, as well as when someone came into the house. The Bark off worked the 1st few days we got it. After that he just ignored it. I thought the batteries ran out, cause we left it on 24 hours a day. New batteries had no effect.

We gave it to a friend to try on her barking dog. He ignored it from the first time they used it. It's a wonderful idea. Too bad it doesn't work.

This product doesn't work period... close distance, far distance, lo, hi... The product also mentions it is inaudible to humans, well... my right ear was hurting for a while after using the device while role playing with my dog by the door, and I was about 5' away from it! If you have sensitive ears... watch out!!! At least I had a coupon and didn't paid full price, but still I wasted my money.

It worked fine for us. We have had a yappy little mutt fenced in next door to us that has barked and growled every time we go into our back yard. We bought "Bark Off" and flipped it on, not expecting much. To our delight, the dog got a disgusted look on its face and backed away. Now when we go out, we don't even have to take the device; the dog has learned to not bark when we are around. It does not seem to work on all dogs, however, as when we take walks, some dogs seem unaffected by the device. Also, the switch is cheap and hard to turn on and off. But for $10 or so, it was well worth it for us.
