Bad Dog,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Barking Ghost (Goosebumps #32) (Paperback)
The Barking Ghost is really good. It's abot a scaredy cat named Cooper and his friend Fergie who run into two ferocious looking ghost dogs. The dogs lure Cooper and Fergie into an old shack called the Changing Room and they turn into the dogs and the dogs turn into them. I give it 5 out of 5 because it's scary like when the dogs jump through the walls. The ending is the best. I hope you like it ,I know Idid.

I liked the book because it was a good book for me and I was interested in it. It was a perfect book for me. The book is about a boy named Cooper and his brother named Mickey. Mickey was always trying to scare his brother. Their family moved in the middle of a forest. Mickey told a girl to try and scare Cooper. Some dogs try to change lives with the girl and cooper, they did and the girl and Cooper try to change back but they turn into chipmunks. I would recommend this book for grades 2-4.

Things that go woof in the night,
By Skilpadde "Zombie" (Norway) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Barking Ghost (Goosebumps Series) (Mass Market Paperback)
Cooper is afraid of everything. At the start of the story, his family moves to a house in the woods. A girl warns Cooper that the woods are haunted, possibly their house as well. When Cooper encounters 2 snarling dogs that give chase, he is terrified. But it gets worse when he sees them leap through a wall...
A disappointing Goosebumps. The plot was too much, what with the origin of the ghost dogs and that ending.

Scare is on the way while reading Barking Ghost,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Barking Ghost (Goosebumps Series) (Mass Market Paperback)
The Barking Ghost is a magnificent and suspenseful book. The book is about Cooper and his family who move to this house near the woods. Cooper has a older brother who always to scare him. Fergie and Cooper were in the woods and these dogs tried to kill them. Then one night the dogs came and nudged Cooper and Fergie to this old house in the woods.
My favorite part is when Cooper saw the dogs reflection in the water. That was my favorite part because it was scary how the dog's eyes were glowing in the water. I would recommend this book to the people who like a good scare, because they might like the suspense and the scariness. To find out more about the book READ IT!

A Louder Barking,

This review is from: The Barking Ghost (Goosebumps #32) (Paperback)
The first time I read this book I loved it. I was about 11 or 12 years old and the subject matter was frightful. I read it again because I had liked it the first time and needed a quick read. This book, especially for older teenagers, is a good quick read. I still liked the plot of the ghost dogs frightening the main character Cooper and his friend Fergie. Eventually leading them to an old shack and switching places with them. And the sibling rivalry between Cooper and Mickey is funny and relative to most teenage siblings. There is another strange twist at the very end of the book which leaves you on the edge of your seat. The Barking Ghost is a good book to read for fun.
