This is good quality leather, not stiff and "board-like" as is often found in leather hats. The fit is also quite accurate. The Amazon.com vendor of this hat, Rodeo Beach, provided superb customer service. I received a personal phone call to say that the hat was temporarily out of stock and offering me an immediate refund. I elected to wait and ultimately received the hat after a delay of only a few days. Personal service of this sort is especially noteworthy nowadays. I recommend both the hat and the vendor.

I got this hat to replace a Barmah Sundowner that was close to 4 years old...the Sundowner was starting to look a little ragged after all of that daily use. This new bronco is a bit taller and has a bit of a wider brim than the sundower but is filling his place nicely.

This is not a 20-30 dollar hat. This is quality.
I purchased this hat after seeing it in a Vegas Hat Company store.
I felt the quality and immediately set out to buy one.
Definately worth it.

This hat is sold with the chinstrap, which can easily be taken off and stored until you need it.

I love this durable hat. squash it into a backpack, and the shape comes right back. I do warn those in extreme hot climates though that wearing one of these will dehydrate you much quicker than hats of other materials. The leather does not let your head breath, and the sun beats hard upon it. I use mine for bow hunting in Hawaii, the wide brim gives me advantageous hearing, it matches the surrounding woods, and gives into a bow string when I draw.
