I love the Barnyard Set. You can find so many fun and unique decorations to go with the theme. For example stuffed animals, books, even plant holders. I would strongly urge Babies R Us to stock up on more of the Kids Line Barnyard products. I would like to register for more of the products that go with the set. At [...] there is a ton of Barnyard accessories. However, you can only order them on line. I hope Babies R Us will begin to carry more items that go along with this adorable set.

I have owned this bedding for about 9 months now and have noticed that only one review mentions anything about quality! I have twins, B/G so you can imagine how hard a nursery set was to find!

We live out on Eastern Long Island, and we ARE surronded by MANY farms and animals and wide open spaces so this was perfect!

First of all the colors and looks (BRU doesnt provide great pictures, I suggest going there to take a look)

* There are cows, puppies, roosters, chickens, sheep, and horses, but they are all cute and friendly

* The colors are, brown, red, yellow, orange, green, blue, and a pale off white. They are much more vibrant than the picture, yet not TOO bright for a farm nursery, and the colors are GREAT for a little boy, but even with a lack of pink and purple, its terrific for my daughter too

* At BRU I saw it with a beautiful white crib and furniture, but it also works terrific with our oak furniture

* The animals are all happy and kinda pop-out, making it fun to look at too

* Those animals were also easy for my Best Friend to hand paint on the walls for a mural, precious

Now for QUALITY

* The bedding set washes VERY well, nothing rips or frayes, and it always comes out as bright and new as the day we bought it

* The colors never EVER faded

* The sheet has elastic all the way around, very, very safe for babies (and it does fit around our crib mattreses unlike a previous reviewer)

* The bumper has ties on the top and bottom, it fits snugly and its never been a problem for our twins

* Every thing is as soft as babies skin, never scratchy or uncomfortable, perfect

* The quilt is not to thick for NY's warm summers, nor to thin for our equally cold winters!

* The set isnt all flat and boring, somethings are SEWED ON, its not just fabric, which makes the quality exceptional and very much worth it

* The diaper stacker actually holds diapers and its never been an igsignificant part of their nursery

* The valance is very cute, durable too

* Everything in the set can be found online for the most part... just keep your eye out for it

BRU does sell it cheaper, because they sell the whole set, but I only needed one of all that stuff but the bedding, so I also purchased the 3 set bedding from Pennys

This set is better than all others in function, apearance, and charm to a babies nursery, the twins are about 9 months old and they STILL love their bedding (they even can "ow" for Cow!)

I thought I would wait to find out if I was expected a girl or a boy before I purchased a bedding set but when I saw this product my choice was made! It is so cute! I like that different fabrics are combined; making it enjoyable to look at but also to touch. Our baby girl is due in a couple of months but I already washed and dried the whole set before putting it in the crib. No problem there, great quality. The fitted sheet holds tight around the mattress thanks to the elastic band that goes all the way around. The bumper has ties on top and bottom. Be careful handling the night light, it's kind of fragile! My husband dropped it on the wood floor from a very short distance and it broke right away.

I did a lot of shopping around and found the set along with many more products from the Barnyard collection on babyuniverse.com. They are the cheapest and the shipping is free. The only downside is that they mention a 3 to 6 weeks wait for delivery. They are not kidding! But if you have the time, it's well worth it.

One last thing, do not follow the first step on the instructions regarding the musical mobile. The two plastic pieces the mobile is mounted on should fit into each other very easely, the instructions tell you to snap them the wrong way...

My husband and I are expecting our first child, a boy, in October and thought this set would be perfect for a boy now and any other children we have in the future. We received this set as a gift, as well as the matching rug (a little larger than a standard bath mat) with it - this rug is not, as far as I can tell, available online - so check with your BRU store. This set is even more beautiful in person than it is online. The colors and amimals are very cheerful. ***I also found several other coordinating items at Dreamtimebaby.com that aren't available through BRU. The prices are pretty much the same as BRU - except the lamp. The base and shade are sold separately at BRU and are sold as one piece at Dreamtime for the price of the base. This is the perfect set for anyone that is still searching for bedding for a boy or a girl!!!

I don't beleive anyone will dispute that the barnyard bedding set is just beautiful, and can be used for a boy or a girl.

I absolutely fell in love with it at babies r us, and kept going back to it over and over again. I found one place online "dreamtimebaby.com", which has a wider selection that babies 'r us, and unless the price has changed since my purchase, had a much reasonable prices for all items in this collection.

If you love this line, try dreamtime first.

I just love this 6 Piece bedding set and all the assessories you can buy as well. However, I found a site that is MUCH cheaper. I bought the set from www.burlingtoncoatfactory.com. Here are the price differences:

WE had this bedding set in our registry ,it was my husbands choice and I liked it too at first I was going for any pink bedding setfor our baby girl but then we decided to go with this unisex one. we got it in our baby shower and its not only great looking but the colors are all so vibrant ,both of us like the fabric too. in fact we liked it so much that we registered for the fleece blanket and the mobile too .but I would like to mention that the mobile with this set is not good and its not a good buy for your money, after 15 days of our daughters birth we had to change it cause it had to be operated manually. Every 2 mint it was our duty to go and set it on again. so we changed it with anoter mobile which suits the bedding set and the good part is its battery operated and the theme is barn yard its from sassy.

Our 4 month old is enjoying it and we love this bedding set too.

This pattern is adorable for a boy or girl! The colors really catch a babies eye - our daughter loved to look at her bumper with all the animals and bright colors when she was a newborn. We've since had to remove the bumper because she's 4 months but still loves her sheets, etc. Words of advice...we registered for this at babiesrus but purchased many items from Burlington Coat Factory which was much cheaper.

I have also put this bedding on my registry. The different textures and colors are fun to use in a nursery. It has given me lots of decorating possibilities.

As far as price is concerned, the jcpenney price mentioned in another review states that the bedding set only cost $129.99. This set only includes the comforter, fitted sheet and bumper. The set at babiesrus includes those three items plus the diaper stacker and valance. Both of which you could purchase individually from jcpenney but if you add it all up the price is the same, with shipping it's even more. Something to consider!!

We bought this bedding for our son prior to his arrival (06-07-2004). We thought our son would love the barnyard animals as they were so colorful. We also live on a farm so it fit our theme perfectly. Well the bedding has proven itself. Our son, Zachary, is now 2 1/2 months old and he loves it. He likes looking at the the animals and all the pretty colors. He loves the mobile also. We bought the bedding at Babies r Us and it was the cheapest place for the money and the number of items you get in the package. Jcpenneys was very high considering that you only got 3 or 4 pieces. If you like this bedding you need to buy at Babies r Us as it is the most reasonable place. Anyway my son loves this theme and I would suggest this theme to anyone interested in barnyards. It is so colorful and I just love those cute animals. My son just stares at the animals for hours. Thanks and I hope I have helped some of you parents out.
