I really enjoy looking at the vivid, dynamic paintings of artist, Barnaby Furnas. This book is an attention getter.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful By Colin on January 13, 2013
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
The book begins with a rather academic and mostly impersonal essay on the history, violence, and temporality behind Furnas' work. Then there are about 120 pages of his paintings, making up one of the only good catalogs of his oeuvre that I have found. And it ends with a pretty good interview by Carroll Dunham.

Format: Hardcover
A interesting collection of artwork by an artist who freely uses red paint as blood for war cartoons. Odd and interesting at the same time.
