Bought this series because my son loved the Edge Chronicles by the same author/illustrator. However this series kind of left him cold. Read a couple myself, and they are just a bit watered down- both in writing style and in illustrations. Wish the author had stuck with more tales for the Edge Chronicle series, and left this one go
