Fine review of of the life and works of this master. This 1971
text was the first comprehensive study of this visionary artist.
In addition to excellent b/w plates many color illustrations.
Both thoughtful and insightful view into his life.
Endorsed by Annalee (artists widow).

Wonderful book! I read it in my 20's and it confirmed my visual observations of paintings I saw in Europe and here in the USA.
