I bought this not too long ago and have only recently been able to use it. I cannot believe the power of this slingshot. I was shooting metal ball bearings through a 1/4" sheet of plywood from about 40 feet. It is very well constructed and the price is just ridiculously low for the product. Good job to Barnett on this one. I haven't had a slingshot for about 15 years now but this makes me remember why I loved having one!

Overall I like the Diablo II. It's fairly powerful and accurate. I'm not convinced that the stabilizers add to accuracy though. More importantly mine came with a cheap leather pouch that ripped on the first day of use after only 30 shots or so. It's been on the shelf ever since as shipping on new bands costs more than the bands themselves.

The actual slingshot is great... However, you MUST order replacement bands when you order this item and replace the band prior to loosing your first round. Either that or wear a full face shield when using this slingshot because the pouch WILL fail on you after less than 50 releases. It is made of a synthetic leather product, the same fake leather that is used in cheap furniture and cheap car seats that claim to be leather, the fibers in this leather are too short and not omnidirectional which lessens its overall strength. When putting 40 lbs of pull on this material repeatedly it will fail. Replace the band with one that is made of actual organic leather and the pouch will outlast the bands, as it is supposed to. I too am unsure of the benefits of the added weights or stabilizers as they are advertised. Proper stiffness of the wrist and follow through will always ensure accuracy, however, my replacement bands aren't here yet so I cannot continue to compare this slingshot to my old one that it replaced. Because my pouch failed on me in less than one hour. I typically believe that I get what I pay for, and when I pay for the most expensive slingshot on the market, I expect it to be of the highest quality available. If it wasn't for the cheap skate band selection this slingshot would get 5 stars from me. Also the sight is mounted on a plastic mechanism that bends around the fork, and no matter how tight you turn the mounting screw it will always move... Just leave it off and sight by feel and instinct rather than try to rely on this second cheap accessory/attachment.

This is a great product. It is extremely accurate, and easy to assemble all the parts. I'm a first time shooter, but I'm able to shoot dead on with this slingshot. I could hit a small soda can of soda 50ft away. Secondly, I could not believe the power. I could easily shoot 70yards with this. This is definitly a great product for beginners.

It's a Neat sling shot but I expected the quality to be better. Stabilizer on the bottom did not screw in well and just keeps turning as if it is stripped. Arm brace has a lot of wiggle and seems very flimsy. Aiming site is "loose" and spins with any little bump so it is pretty much useless as you would have to keep resting it.

Grip is comfortable and sturdy. Bands are strong and have more power than the average slingshot bands.

I'm no slingshot pro so I can't say if the Stabilizers help my shot any and are worth the extra money, I don't think they do.
For the money I would say by the orig Diablo for $13 and save yourself $8.

For twenty bucks this thing is sweet. Very accurate and deadly; could easily kill a squirrel or other small animals. Especially if you use the 1/2 inch ammo. You lose a little velocity with the bigger ammo but you make up for that in the force at impact. Don't know what went wrong with some of these other reviews but I've shot off hundreds of rounds and it's still just as sturdy as the day I opened it. One thing though the sight thingy is pretty much useless, just leave it off. Again, well worth the $20.

The Barnett Diablo II is an excellent slingshot. It is built rock solid and is definitely worth the money. This slingshot is very accurate and has a really nice adjustable sight setup. The stabilizers work well. I'm not sure they are worth the extra weight, but they are optional and can easily be removed and put back on as needed. I use Trumark red tapered bands with mine. They last much longer and perform much better than the bands that came with the slingshot.

This slingshot surpasses any other sling shot I have ever used! the stablizers work great and look cool too. the arm band is the best. this slingshot could kill a large squirrel with ease. i would reccamend this to a friend.

Very nice for popping the butts of unwanted neighbor dogs! Honestly we keep our dogs up so should everbody else.

It'll likely be a great product when I get it exchanged. It broke with 1st use! The leather ammo pouch ripped away from the rubber band leaving the slingshot useless. Please help!
