Review:
This is my very first bow and it is a blast to shoot. It has enough power to go straight through cardboard boxes and even dent cement walls up close. This is probably the most powerful bow you can get before entering hunting level bows. The adjustable sight that comes with the bow is pretty dinky and is basically just a piece of plastic that you can adjust up, down, left, and right. The arrows are made of fiberglass with blunt noninterchangeable tips that aren't too good for taking abuse so it would be wise to get some extra arrows. The forearm guard and archery tab felt cheap, but they get the job done if you feel like using them. I ignored the paper target all together and just used box the archery set was shipped in as target practice. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Warning:
This bow is by no stretch a toy. The bow string has good weight behind it and may harm the user if shot incorrectly so I definitely don't recommended it for small children.

birthday present for 12 yr old and he loves it. seems well constructed, shoots well. worth the few extra $$

bought it for my grandson who is 9 so he can have fun and also learn and see if he would love to bow hunt as he gets older.the only problem is 25lb pull back on the bow is a little to much and he will have to get stronger, but i think he will enjoy this toy and learn to shoot

I bought this for a Christmas present for my 10 yr old daughter. At first she couldn't pull it back but now she tries everyday and can. This is made very well I'm sure she will have it for many yrs to come. I'm very pleased with this set.

The bow is great- sturdy construction and seems like it will hold up well. I bought this for my 11 year old for his birthday. He is a pretty big kid and was just able to pull the drawstring. A few of his other friends tried and were not able to. So make sure your child has some strength. The arrows were a bit shabby...the "feathers" fell off of them after 2-3 shots. Was real disappointed in this aspect, but luckily I had already ordered him a dozen more arrows.

I just bought this bow and im having a great time shooting and with the right arrows Im able to kill rabbits and squrrils but the arrows that came with the bow broke on 4th shot into a ha bale i reccomend spending a little extra on buying some good 26" fiberglass arrows if you want the bow to hit targets harder but overall the bow can shoot pretty far and high but isnt a toy it could seriusly harm some one or even kill them if you dumb enough to shoot a barbed arrow at some one

This is a great bow and I would recommend to a older kid with a lot of arm strength. The arrows that came with it are crappy and break after the fifth shot so I would recommend getting other arrows. This is my first bow and arrow set and I'm pretty happy with it. I shot at the box it came with but another idea would be to get some hay bales and put a target on them(a paper target comes with the set).

Good bow for beginners but a little big for smaller kids, my 13 year old son has a hard time of holding arrow steady but he learned bow hunting is not that easy.

this is a 40 lbs. draw weight compound bow. it is very good for ametuer shooters. the arrows it comes with are terrible. the first time i used this i brought it out behind my house into a huge open field. if you aim at the sky, the arrow will fly about 150 yards up and 250 yards away, but the arrows tips come right off and the arrows can easily snap if you bend them a little. that is why this isn't a 5 star.

This product was very satisfactory and is definitely adequate for a beginner young adult. I also want to let people know it comes with an arm guard. It doesn't specify this and I spent extra to order one. Thank You for your quality at an affordable price.
