Purchased this xbow to extend my hunting past rifle season. I am very much impressed by the power of this bow. I had.to put a small haystack behind a target to keep my bolts from going through. Groupings are consistently within an inch or two from 25'. It comes with 4 Easton 22" bolts I found to be excellent. Scope is of surprisingly decent quality for noname chinese stuff with red/green xbow reticle. It comes also with a cocking rope that needs to be slightly adjusted for length. It's one of the most powerful xbows on the markèt now.
Here're a few small complaints I've had so far. Xbow comes disassembled into bow & stock and it took me some time to aline two pieces just right to screw 'em together. Cocking using a rope is a little tricky. You have to make sure that rope is secured against its groove on the back of the stock. Otherwise, it'll slip up and gets lodged in the scope assembly. That, in turn, will cause the string to travel way above the track and break a plastic bolt retainer. That's what happened to me, but Barnett was awesome enough to en me 2 replacements for free. Personally, I believe it's a small design flaw of rope groove not being deep enough that Barnett will hopefully fix in future versions. I will be investing into crank pully myself.
One more small issue I had is with stickers on a stirup that won't stick to its curvy surface. I'm thinking of using a glue gun. Other than that it's an awesome weapon with unmatched price/performance ratio.

The crossbow is excellent. The speed is unbelievable. The only problems that I have with this product are that the bolts are 22" long, and are hard to find replacements as most are only 20". The selection is just not as good. The other problem is that it shoots so fast, I needed to put 170 grain tips to enable the awesome scope to work properly. The tru-glo scope is pre set for crossbows, but the recommendations for the scope are for a slower bow and heavier arrow. So the 125 grain tips that come with the bow work, but the 170's are perfect. All in all, a great product. I was very pleased with this product.

Am very pleased with the overall crossbow. About 100 shots so far and could not be happier. I switched to 125 grain heads for more kinetic energy and still haven't much velocity. After two shooting sessions, I settled in with setting the scope up for 30, 40ish, 50ish, 60ish. started at 20 but decided to use 30 as top sight. Scope is actually quite responsive as long as you do the math. It's setup for 1/4" at 100 yards so at 50 yards, its 1/8", etc. Also, as you move back yardage, you'll begin to get it more and more dialled-in as you'll see more movement. By end of 2nd session, had 60 yard groups down to about 2-1/2 to 3". The one upgrade i would suggest would be Barnett Carbons with Lumenoks. At 20-40 yards, the crossbow is just too fast for me to pick up without aid of a lighted nock. Also, wax the string religiously!!! At 100 shots, i have no visible frays or markings with the exception of the middle serving having a slight indention and this, i discovered was because i was standing slightly off-centered using the cocking rope which in turn, caused the hook to torque the final few inches. Just be sure to adjust the length of the cocking rope. At 5' 8", i had to take about 4-5" up on each side. Give the rope a good tug and the rubber seating will pull loose allowing you to shorten, knot, and snug the handles down on the knot you just made.

Excellent piece of kit, light quiet stable very powerful. Easy tight grouping. Easy to assemble. Must use a cocking system, rope is fine and lines up string balance. Buy an arrow puller as the 375fps arrow speed embeds deep in the target.

This is my 2nd barnett xbow. I had a quad 400 first. Bought this xbow and wow!! shooting quarter size groups at 50 yds! Make sure you shoot these bows 20-25 times and then tighten everything back down. xbow kinda shoots everywhere til bow and cables break in! Great xbow!!!

this thing is sick. after a crash course in the basics of crossbow and learning some hard lessons. this thing is really accurate, bolts touching at 30 yards. some problems....
1. Get a good target, I started with a bag of corn. blew right through that, hit a metal target and ended up 40 yards in the field with damage to the bolt from impact with the metal target (side of bolt from impact with target and rocks) definitely not a bolt quality issue but the amount of force it hits with and how it hit...totally understand. ended up using two bags of corn and a travel bag stuff with rags and old clothes as a target. well that finally stopped it from blowing all the way through but the fletchings were getting messed up. this affected accuracy. New bolts and accuracy was back on. got a real target with heavier bolts and still sinking in to the fletchings...
2. scope- the scope i received worked just fine, had a flaw in it though, with the illumination feature. it would illuminate but the light would bleed out from the aiming circles making it impossible to see in low light. Amazon and Barnett very quickly made it right and despite this flaw am very happy. i am sure there are better fancier scopes out there, but this one does the job just fine. when mounting make sure the crosshairs are truly leveled with the crossbow otherwise and distances it will be off to one side or the next.
3. Bolts- buy extra bolts.... you will most likely damage the ones you have. the bolts are just fine, actually seem very high quality, but this thing is a beast. i bought heavier bolts to slow it down some which seems to help with depth of sinking into he target (enough to not damage the fletching) but it literally knocks the target around and have to fix/re position the target.
