Bad Ass Crossbow !,

What can I say badly about this Crossbow? NOTHING! Bad Ass is my comment on this 375FPS crossbow. Two options I would like to point out between this Barnett model and the Quad 400. If you want to use a winch style cocking device on the Predator you will have to install a dove tail to the butt stock and then when needed install the cocking device to it. On the quad 400 the cocking device is incorporated inside the butt stock and you use a cranking handle that you insert in the side of the butt stock. I like using the cocking rope but when it comes time to De-cock the crossbow you're going to have to shoot your bolt in to an object that won't damage your bolt or you can use the cocking winch to De-cock you crossbow which I find more convenient. It's an extra item to purchase and have to carry but I believe you will find it worth every penny when you need to re-cock your crossbow while in a tree stand or ground blind, and when you're ready to de-cock your crossbow at the end of a hunt. As far as the Barnett Predator, I really like how you can personalize this crossbow. It has an adjustable cheek pad as well as an adjustable butt stock pad. The weight on the front of the crossbow actually helps while aiming and prevents the shooter from pulling up while sighting in the target. The limbs are compact and the 19" width allows the shooter to use this crossbow in small ground blinds or standard climbing tree stands with ease of movement. I don't recommend buying the red dot scope for a couple of reasons. This crossbow will shoot at distances out to 75yds. And has the kinetic energy to do the job, believe me. Second if you ever forget to shut off the illumination on the red dot scope you might be able to use the red illumination since it takes less current to operate or you might find yourself with no illumination period, and without it your red dot scope is useless. I recommend the UTG 4x32 5 step scope. This is an awesome scope for the money and when using a crossbow that can deliver a kill from 75yds. Out you will be glad you mounted this scope on your crossbow rather than a red dot scope, I Promise! Happy Hunting

this thing is a beast it is really powerfull and accurit went togher easy and cake with everything to start shooting
