This high-powered, quad-limbed crossbow from Barnett is designed to deliver the bolt to the target with as much accuracy and speed as possible. The popular Quad 400 has been totally redesigned with an eye toward maintaining its well deserved reputation as a shooter's favorite, while adding impressive new features.

A high-density gas assist composite stock is the first of its kind in the industry, is lighter and more comfortable than its predecessor, and includes an integrated cocking device attachment. A contoured cheek piece conceals the attachment while also increasing comfort. Additional features include a thumbhole grip, 15.5-inch power stroke, and parallel limb design producing arrows speeds of 345-feet-per-second.

This kit includes the Quad 400 crossbow, quick detach quiver, four 22-inch arrows, and a 4x32 multi-reticle scope.

Was looking for a quality crossbow for an affordable price. Found one. It is extremely fast and accurate. After sighting in the top line on the scope, I was very impressed with its power. Almost knocked my block target over from 23 yards. Took 3 shots from my house, about 65 yards, and all were 8-10 inches apart, including one dead center. Can't wait till I get a chance to put it into action. Received the crossbow very quickly and in great shape.

I received this bow and was very excited to get it sighted in. I put bow together, as per simple instructions that cam with it.
I went outside cocked the bow by hand and placed one of the supplied arrows on bow. My first shot from 20 years was about 4 inches to the right of where I was aiming. Not too bad, I made adjustment to the scope and loaded the second stock arrow.
As I was bringing the bow down to the target I heard what sounded like the bow firing. It scared the sh.. out of me because the arrow was pointed up and I thought it had sent it traveling towards houses in the distance. When I looked at the bow I was surprised to see that the arrow was still resting on the bow. I took a quick look at the bow and saw that the noise I heard was the left limb splitting in two!!
My friend went to Cabela's and bought his bow and said he saw a few Barnetts that were returned because of this very flaw. I told him he was lying and bought it anyway.
Who is the fool now.

This is a very fast and accurate crossbow right out of the box.
I have added the option cocking device that I highly recommend to reduce the effort needed for loading.
I am looking forward to yeras of service with this weapon.
