Was looking for a quality crossbow for an affordable price. Found one. It is extremely fast and accurate. After sighting in the top line on the scope, I was very impressed with its power. Almost knocked my block target over from 23 yards. Took 3 shots from my house, about 65 yards, and all were 8-10 inches apart, including one dead center. Can't wait till I get a chance to put it into action. Received the crossbow very quickly and in great shape.

I received this bow and was very excited to get it sighted in. I put bow together, as per simple instructions that cam with it.
I went outside cocked the bow by hand and placed one of the supplied arrows on bow. My first shot from 20 years was about 4 inches to the right of where I was aiming. Not too bad, I made adjustment to the scope and loaded the second stock arrow.
As I was bringing the bow down to the target I heard what sounded like the bow firing. It scared the sh.. out of me because the arrow was pointed up and I thought it had sent it traveling towards houses in the distance. When I looked at the bow I was surprised to see that the arrow was still resting on the bow. I took a quick look at the bow and saw that the noise I heard was the left limb splitting in two!!
My friend went to Cabela's and bought his bow and said he saw a few Barnetts that were returned because of this very flaw. I told him he was lying and bought it anyway.
Who is the fool now.

This is a very fast and accurate crossbow right out of the box.
I have added the option cocking device that I highly recommend to reduce the effort needed for loading.
I am looking forward to yeras of service with this weapon.

The strings wore nearly in half after about 20 shots. Fortunately I noticed before the strings actually broke.
I did use plenty of string wax as directed. Barnett does not cover broken strings under the warranty.
Amazon gets 5 stars because they took it back without a problem for a full refund.

The crossbow is very well made. If you are looking for a fun weapon for target practice this is a good choice. It can even be used for home protection. I had to give this product five stars.

Are you ready to pluck some Venison from natures bounty. This bow only drops 3" at 35 yards. Yeah I'm being a little over zealous but we finally get to use a crossbow in lower Michigan and I'm pumped to try it out.I'm all for the most humane shot you can make and believe me I could really suck at times with a compound, macho or not we have all been there.I assembled the bow and shot at 20 yards, with no scope adjustment,shoots near the top of the 4" insert on the deer target.I kept moving back 5 yard at a time and at 35 yards shoots near the bottom of the insert.Nice setup from Barnett.

I bought this item for my boyfriend for Christmas but when he went to put it together it did not have the premium red dot scope as described it had the 4x32 cross hair scope!! He was still happy with it and we decided to keep it and not send it back Amazon did give me a ten dollar credit for the mistake!!!

Bought this a few months ago and I haven't had any problems with it. The body of the bow is rock solid and the drawback is user friendly, for lack of a better term. If you're looking to upgrade, this bow is for you.

After I bought the crossbow I got it sighted in and was impressed on how well it shot.
Then after I shot it about forty or so times,the bolt that holds the bow arms onto
the stock broke when I shot it. the arm flew back and hit me in the face. Could of lost
an eye. You guys beware, that crossbow is junk.

I BOUGHT THIS CROSSBOW AT DUNHAM,S IN ADRIAN,MI. FOR 402.00 OTD!!! I TOOK IT HOME AND PUT IT TOGETHER PER THE INSTRUCTIONS. I PROCEDED TO SHOOT IT AT 15YARDS. AFTER SHOOTING IT 6TIMES I DID NOTICE THE TOP CABLE WAS FRAYING ON THE LEFT SIDE AS YOU HOLD IT. I WAXED EVERYTHING AND THE FRAYING GOT WORSE!!!!! I CALLED BARNETT AND TALKED TO THE SERVICE DEPT!!!! THEY TOLD ME U.P.S. WOULD PICK THE CROSSBOW UP IN A FEW DAYS TO SHIP BACK TO THE FACTORY IN FLORIDA FOR SERVICE. THE ALSO TOLD ME THERE WOULD BE ABOUT A 2WEEK TURN AROUND AFTER THEY GOT THE CROSSBOW FOR REPAIR. I GOT THE CROSSBOW BACK 7DAYS AFTER THEY GOT IT AT THE FACTORY. THEY PUT NEW CABLES ON IT AND LIKE MAGIC THIS PART IS VERY INPORTANT THEY TOOK (OUT) THE CABLE SLIDE!!!!!!! AND PUT A PIECE OF TEFLON TAPE AT THE TOP OF THE CABLE TRACK!!!!! THIS THING IS EVEN FASTER WITHOUT THE CABLE SLIDE. NO FRAYING WHAT SO EVER AND SHOOTS THE LIGHTS OUT ANYTIME I PICK IT UP. I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE I GOT FROM BARNETT!!!!!!! AND WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CROSSBOW TO ANYONE. I DID BUY THIS QUAD400 EXTREME AND LIKE THE FOREARM UNDERNEATH IT TO HOLD. THIS CROSSBOW FEELS VERY RUGGED AND DEPENDABLE.
