My daughter loves this book, but she loves almost everything "Barney." The pictures are beautifully done with bright and bold colors. The cd is great for keeping the younger kids entertained on car rides. My daughter is severely autistic so she doesn't exactly follow along with the cd when she looks at the book, but she seems to like them both. My only complaint about this book is the fact that my daughter has most of these stories on video and there are differences between the stories and the videos. For example: in the "Come on Over to Barney's House" video the kid's names are Jill and Jeff, but in the story they are Claire and Robert. The story line is a bit different, too. In the "Outer Space Adventure" it is just Barney, Baby Bop and BJ that go to meet Meeby (no kids). My daughter doesn't speak so I don't know if this bothers her at all. She still loves to look at the book so it must not bother her too much. If she ends up destroying this book (often looks at them until she's torn most of the pages) I will probably buy another one (or one like it.) I do recommend this book as long as you aren't bothered by the differences between the movies and the stories.

My children (3 and 5) both enjoy listening to these Barney stories. The CD goes through the stories two times the 1st time with page turn cues and the 2nd time without. Good for loyal Barney fans and even for those who aren't crazy about Barney.

My 3-year old son loves this CD storybook. He has trouble sitting through a regular story but this storybook collection on CD keeps his attention throughout the entire four stories. There is a beep when it is time to turn the page and he is able to follow along on his own. This is really helping him enjoy books more. We highly recommend it and look forward to more storybooks on CD.
