5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Fantastic
A great story written with humor & wit, about generations of family where even the ordinary becomes extraordinary . The writer's use of descriptive words puts the reader into the story and is reminiscent of every family & every childhood. There is humor, mystery & suspense - the kind of book you want to read & then read again,
recommend & share with your own...

1.0 out of 5 stars This is not for kids!
I bought this for my son, who is doing a report for school on paintballing. When he started reading it, he alerted me to several profane words on the first page- this book is absoulutely filled with foul language. It is most definitely not for kids, and we'll be sending it right back.

There is humor, mystery & suspense - the kind of book you want to read & then read again,

I definitely look forward to a sequel by this author.

5.0 out of 5 stars Laugh and Cry, October 28, 2005
This review is from: Barney Googlemeyer, Paintball Hero (Paperback)
This book has most readers laughing throughout. There is some adult humor but no one said it was a childrens book. The mother of a 14 year old boy bought it for her son. She said he could not put it down. She had always had a difficult time getting her son to read. The story is very interesting and there are elements that any teenager or adult can relate to. Drama, suspense, humor and fear. This story touches on many emotions and reads very well. The author uses excellent description in his details. NEVER LET A CHILD READ A BOOK IF YOU HAVE NOT REVIEWED IT FIRST. DUH!
