This video captures all the excitement of Barney's live stage show, and includes a wide assortment of creatively presented children's songs. My two-year-old daughter really loves this video. In addition to Barney and his friends, kids will also be amused by the Winkster, who is a clever, leprochaun-like character with a funny voice and dance (he steals the Barney Bag!). Other favorite scenes include a dancing baby elephant, a cute little bird hatching out of an egg, and several silly "monkeys" jumping on a bed. Older kids like this one too (my 4-year-old niece and my 6-year-old and 8-year-old nephews enjoy it).

This video is filled with everything you could want from Barney - music, humor, and of course, love and learning for all kids!

MY KIDS HAV BEEN WATCHING THIS TAPE FOR OVER A YEAR, IT IS THE BEST BABYSITTER WE EVER HAD! I CAN'T GET THEIR ATTENTION WHEN BARNEY IS ON. IT'S LIKE I DON'T EXIST. SIGNED.......THEIR DAD.

I can't stand Barney. My two pre-schoolers have different views, and so I got them this tape of a live show from Radio City, New York City. It has a weak plot that gives Barney and company execuses to do many of my children's favorite songs. The cast includes many from the TV show (as opposed to more recent tapes of live shows that feature child actors who did not appear on the show), and this makes the video more fun for my children. While Barney is not for adult tastes, this video contains nothing that will frighten or harm children, and many will enjoy the singing and dancing. Given the garbage that is on TV, I would rather have my children watching Barney, even though he drives me crazy.

My 2-year-old boy loves this video very much. Actually, all of my family loves it. The songs are beautiful, and it has a story in it. We also have the video titled "Barney goes to school", "Barney's songs", and "Barney's musical scrapbook". What I have found is that Barney's home videos give children fun, imagination, and education. Barney shares everything with children; He plays, dances, sings, and studies, and more... So, get it and enjoy it! This is the one you shouldn't miss!

Barney Lights up the stage with lots of singing, dancing, and friends. The children (Kathy, Julie, Derek, Carlos, Kelly, Tosha, Min, and Shawn) want to make a surprise for their new found audience friends. But the Winkster, a silly fellow who loves to play tricks and jokes, takes the Barney Bag and their surprise. They try to get it back and end up in an Imagination Circus. It's a filled with fun, songs, dances, and lots of surprises. With Barney favorites like Mr. Knickerbocker, If all the raindrops..., Please and Thank you, And the Green Grass Grew all around, and Everyone is Special. This an adventure no Barney fan will want to miss!

I like this video. I agree with Mandy because if some children have this video and were attending the show, they are really lucky. That's the reason I titled my review Erin and Mandy's Movie Review. I have always been a Barney fan and I think this is a great movie. If Mandy had attended the show, she would have been really lucky. I wonder if Mandy has seen Barney's Musical Castle or Barney's Colorful World. I have only attended the Barney and the Backyard Gang concert and the Musical Castle concert when I was little. I hope that your preschooler will love this video as much as me and Mandy because we both have been Barney fans.

My name is Mandy and this is my review of Barney Live In New York City. I think this is a really great movie. I have always been a Barney fan. I think everyone should see this movie.

I am a Mamaw that just learned about this wonderful purple dinosaur from my grandson.
Jake is 3 1/2 and adores Barney....has learned all of his songs, and this video is one of his favorites. It shows him how nice and loving Barney is to all people.
I recently took Jake to see Barney in a Colorful Stage Show, and because of this wonderful video it helped him make the connection to the real Barney!!
I find myself sitting down with him to watch, and now I know all the songs too!!

Please...take the time to enjoy Barney, and friends with the little ones...this is the perfect video to help you get in the mood!!

hi ive always loved barney my sister andi have alwayts loved it but we have a huge selecton of barney but out of all the lives this would have to be the 2nd best barney live ever the first one is barney in concert my sisteer and i have lots of faverite barney videos im 13 and i still love barney in this live well first of all let me say that barney is so happy when he pops up on stage singing his theme song everyone starts claping well first he introduses the audints to his friends in the show next after a game or too baby bop arives on her tricicle with her blanky of course then barneys friends make a spetial surprise for the audince and it is inside the barney bag but then the winkstar have took the barney bag and will not give it back till the end of the preformince so famolys lsisten up if your kids love barney and love his live shows go to amazon,com and order this video your children will think its the best my sister and i did if my sister and i did then your children will love it too christian
