5.0 out of 5 stars Wheels on the Bus + Barney
My 2 year old daughter is entranced with buses right now - school buses on the street, her toy bus and especially the Wheels on the Bus song. What could be better than Barney singing her favorite song? We have to watch this everyday while she sings and dances along. And I'm so happy not to have to sing the same song quite as many times each day!

3.0 out of 5 stars I'd recommend others over this one
My 19 month old son seems to like this tape the least of the 10 other Barney tapes I've purchased. There's a part where a kitten gets stuck in a tree and a tin man attempts to get the cat out of the tree-- This seems to scare my son. His favorite Barney Tapes are "sing and dance with Barney", "Let's Play School", "Barney Songs",...

My 19 month old son seems to like this tape the least of the 10 other Barney tapes I've purchased. There's a part where a kitten gets stuck in a tree and a tin man attempts to get the cat out of the tree-- This seems to scare my son. His favorite Barney Tapes are "sing and dance with Barney", "Let's Play School", "Barney Songs", "Barney's Big Surprise", and "Live in NYC" and "Waiting for Santa". I'd definitely recommend purchasing these first-- I feel they are more worth the money. "adventure Bus", "Imagination Island" "Kids for Character" are his least favorites. And "Alphabet Zoo" is my specially least favorite.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Barney video for toddlers!, July 19, 2000
This quickly became the most requested video at my house. My son usually likes Bear or Elmo best, but when we recieved this video as a gift, it was all we heard! He was only 16 months at the time (now 20 mo) and he now "sings" many on the songs like "Baby Bop Hop" and "Old McDonald." I know many people have said the video is not as good as other Barneys, but if your child really enjoys music, dancing, and singing they will love this video!

3.0 out of 5 stars This is a favorite at my house!, March 17, 1999

Let Barney the Dinosaur take you on a bus trip with his friends Kristen, Robert, Keesha, and Chip. First, they travel to a castle where Barney does a little "happy dancin'." Then the bus ends up on a ranch where Keesha ropes and rides a real pony! After that they travel to the Peppy Purple Pepperoni Pizzeria where Chip shows his friends how to make a yummy pizza. Finally, they go to the circus where Baby Bop does a little hopping while B.J. plays in his own band. This show is an exciting ride with Barney and his friends. Taking your children on an exciting journey through Barney's make-believe world. This show also includes fun songs like The Land of Make Believe, The Wheels on the Bus, Castles so High, Turkey in the Straw, and the Popcorn Song. This is over 50 minutes of fun your little ones are sure to enjoy!

4.0 out of 5 stars Action Packed, April 4, 2006
This review is from: Adventure Bus [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I got this video and it's about Barney taking Baby Bop, BJ, Chip, Keesha, Kristen, and Robert on a bus to imaginary destinations. First it's off to a castle where Robert and Kristen are the king and queen of the land of make believe. Then it's off to a pizzeria for Chip. Next comes a trip to a cowboy ranch for Keesha, then a circus for Baby Bop. And last but not least, BJ becomes a one-man band with Barney's help. This video held my interest until the end credits rolled.

5.0 out of 5 stars I have no choice but to give it 5 stars, February 4, 2006
This review is from: Adventure Bus [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Unfortunetly I am not much of a dancing /singing dinosaur fan, well not till my 3rd son anyway,we have 5 different barney videos, and thank god in a small way for that, my baby now 8 months was not entertained with anything we would give him, till I put barney in one day for him to watch, I thought to myself yea sure this wont work either. I couldn't of been more wrong. Barney is our shrine for my son and now all 3 of them watch it more often. This is sad but true I doubt any 1 person watches repeatedly(barney) as much as my household, see we only watch video tapes or DVDs in my home and from 7am till sometimes 9pm barney is watched repeatedly, when he is neede. once in awhile we get to fit in a movie we like.I have realized that my 2 yr old pretty much knows all the words, I am suprised he will sit long enough to learn 1 word let alone the whole song. and my baby (8mos)gets cranky till I put barney in, and in my opinion I think that they should put better children on the videos, most are way to old to hang out with barney anymore, and they are the worst actors ever seen, at least the little ones are cute and get away with acting the way they do, I think the little tina girl will graduate college still being on the barney show, maybe they'll call that barney goes to college. but like I said other than the over dramamtic older kids ,barney is an idol in my house. what has the world come too. so I have to give it a 5 just because when we are home this is are life!

4.0 out of 5 stars Guaranteed Toddler Pleaser - Makes a good gift!, December 17, 2001

(REAL NAME)
Both of my daughters really enjoy this video. Their favorite parts are the visit to the castle, the trip to the circus, and the western sing-along. Best of all, "The Wheels on the Bus" song is featured prominently between every segment, giving your little ones lots of opportunities to sing this favorite song.

This video would make a great gift; may I also suggest pairing it with either Fisher-Price's Little People Bus or Raffi's The Wheels on the Bus storybook? Both are reasonably priced and will be well received by the lucky child. My children were thrilled to get these three (video, bus toy, and book) - it went over very, very well!

3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing - not as good as the other videos, October 16, 1999
I felt that this video was not up to par with the usual Barney videos. The content was slow, lacking, and not as entertaining. My daughter much prefers the other ones, such as "Let's Play School".

5.0 out of 5 stars My Kids Think This One is the Best!!, April 23, 1999
By A Customer
We have approximately 12 Barney videos at our house. My kids love them all, but if I was to rate them in order of "most watched", this one would be number one. They LOVE Barney's bus, and enjoy imagining along with the children in the video. My kids especially like the Pop-pop-pop-POPCORN! song. This one is a "get up and dance" video. Exercise while they watch!

4.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining and creative Barney video, December 15, 1999
By
My son got this video for his 2nd birthday, before which he'd had no exposure to Barney. I reluctantly popped it into the VCR and thereafter it became his favorite video. In it, Barney takes four children on an adventure to a circus, pizza parlor, and corral where they sing various fun and catching songs. Okay, it's a typical Barney video, but the variety of activity in this one makes it a stand-out, plus I believe it introduced some new songs to Barney fans. We still watch it from time to time (2 years later) and recommend it to any preschooler.
