It's two-times the fun!, March 24, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Barney's Exercise Circus & Parade of Numbers [VHS] (VHS Tape)
It's two-times the fun with everyone's favorite purple dino! First, it's "Barney's Exercise Circus." Tina is so excited about getting her cast off, she wants to share the fun with all of her friends (Derek, Tosha, Michael, and Min). Her and her friends are so full of energy that they decide to perform in a make-believe exercise circus! There they practice staying healthy by exercising and eating healthy foods, and they even march in their own marching band! This show includes the songs If all the raindrops, Taking Turns, Snackin' on healthy foods, The Clapping Song, The Exercise Song, and The Marching Song. The second tape in this set is "Barney's Parade of Numbers," otherwise known as "Having tens of fun!" In this episode, Barney and his friends (Tosha, Michael, Kathy, and Min) meet a very special friend of Barney's, Mr. Tenagain. And because Mr. Tenagain loves the number ten so much, the children find lots of fun ways to count while they are playing. They count to ten playing hopskotch, they count their fingers and toes, and they even read a book entitled "Ten, Nine, Eight." This show is a great teaching show, it is a fun and easy way to teach small children how to count from 1 to 10. It also includes the songs One, Two Buckle my Shoe, The Ants go marching, This old man, Parade of Numbers, Aiken Drum, and, ofcourse, the I Love You song. Both these shows are great! They teach important facts, but are so much fun, your children won't even realize that they're learning! I would highly recommend this show.

Having tens of Fun, May 15, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Barney's Exercise Circus & Parade of Numbers [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Barney's friend Mr. Tenagain comes to visit the children. Mr. Tenagain helps them learn to count. His favorite number is 10. Min counts by playing hopscotch, Michael counts by kicking his soccer ball, kathy counts her fingers, and Mr. Tenagain counts Tosha's ten little toes on her "Pretty little feet". They read a book about toes inspired by Tosha's and they sing.
