i've got 1 1/2 year old twin girls, and they love barney. they have learned so much from the show and listening to the songs. they teach manners, and good listening skills. buy this cd

I am a musician and find many of the typical kiddie CDs almost intolerable due to the lack of talent of the singers. This one is suprisingly good. The Barney actor and children from the cast sing the songs. The children are quite talented, making it easy for adults to listen to. Kids love the songs. It features a good assortment of familiar songs from the TV show and classic children's songs. My 2-year old loves it and requests this CD daily. I am able to stand listening to this CD over and over much easilly than his other favorites. The "clean-up" song is also usefull during clean-up time in our house.

Of all the young children's music we've heard, this cd far surpasses all the others in choice of songs, vocals (with both Barney and kids, afterall, kids love to hear other kids sing), and sound quality. It's quite addictive-- you'll find yourself singing those songs. It's worth getting.

I am a teacher's asst, and my teacher uses this cd everyday for learning days of the week, for clean up time, and for a special "pick-a-song" session everyday. The kids absolutely love every song and they eventually learn to sing the words to them. What makes this invaluable is, some of the kids that I work have speech difficulties, but they try to sing with Barney anyway. It is a great way for them to learn how to start speaking. I highly recommend this cd. In addition, kids are more likely to enjoy cleaning up to a fun song than to their parent's monotonous commands!

On most tracks you hear the children sing, but Barney is muffled. All in all it's still a Barney CD and has great songs. My toddler kept saying "Barney?", "Barney?" (the sound she makes when she wants me to put in a Barney CD) when most tracks played -- she is used to the newer albums where Barney is the out-front lead singer and the children are the backup. This album is the other way around (on most tracks).

I love that peanut butter song. I bought the album just for that. It really gets me through and day, and really annoys all my co-workers.

As a toddler teacher and former preschool teacher, this CD was one of the best investments I've made for my classroom. The songs are not only keep the children entertained because of Barney and song recognition but also help their memory and lyric-recollection! The songs are upbeat and fun and the children enjoy it very much!

My four year old loves Barney. This is one of his favorites. We've been through several of the cassettes. They ware out very quickly.

Barney's Favorites is a mixture of some of Barney's all-time favorite songs. It includes the vocals of Barney & Friends cast members: Tosha, Michael, Luci, Kathy, and Tina. This tape is sure to have your children singing their little hearts out!
