I have a 6 year old and a 2 year old. They both love this CD. We have to turn it up loud on "If all the Raindrops were lemon drops and gum drops". And we all stick out our tongues and catch the drops! This is a great CD for calming kids down in the car or for getting them to dance in the house.

MY DAUGHTER LOVES BARNEY AND THIS CD IS PERFECT FOR LONG ROAD TRIPS OR JUST A FUN TIME. I RECOMMEND THIS CD TO ANY PARENT WHO NEEDS A BREAK!!

This is a great collection of Barney favorites, with traditional songs as well. When I got this CD, my daughter was not hooked on Barney yet and I was just looking for a good collection of children's songs to play in the car. Well she got hooked on his voice and now she is hooked on his big purple self too. Between the "Great Day to Learn" CD and this CD, we are all set. Even if she is cranky, just hearing the Barney theme song turns everything around. I realize that not everybody likes Barney, but that is no reason to give a lousy review with no justification. I was wary of the purple guy myself but this CD and the "Great Day to Learn" CD attest to Barney's appeal to both kids and parents alike. I would recommend this even for non-Barney fans, it is a good collection of songs that are very energetically done.

We ordered this CD along with Barney's favorites vol. 2, and strangely, the songs were identical on both CDs (all of the songs on Barney's Early Years were the songs which appeared on the vol. 2. We were disappointed since we selected the Early Years CD due to the fact that several of my daughter's favorite songs were listed on the Early Years CD. We contacted Amazon and they exchanged the Early Years CD for another Early Years CD, thinking it was a crazy fluke with the manufacturer. However, the exact same issue occured with the replacement Early Years CD! The songs listed on the back of the CD are not on the CD. We have returned the replacement as well and are giving up on this particular Barney CD.

Say what you will about Barney but this CD is full of fun. The songs are old favorites as well as some that may be new and they are so much fun. It's so nice to be able to listen to music without censoring and to have my little one singing along is a joy.

This is the first Barney CD I've ordered, but it's a wrong product too!! The songs on this CD are the same ones on Barney's favorites vol. 2. Very disappointed!!

My little girl simply LOVES Barney. She acrually gets mad when my little brother changes the television. And when I bought this CD for her--her eyes lit up, when I first played it for. And started dancing around. She recognizes the Barney-Theme song any where. I would recommend this CD to any parent for thier childs first CD.

I came across this gem in a local mom and pop CD store while looking for some good black metal. The bored looking guy behind the desk told me to look no further than this masterpiece, so I bought it. I love the sleeve art, very primitive, yet pure black metal. And the music? Let's not get me started. Alright, I'm started. From the opening gargling-razors roar of "Barney Theme Song" to the moody, atmospheric synths of "Apples And Bananas," this disk delivers on all war-torn fronts. I played "Sally The Camel" for my friend Jeff in the car one day, and he raised his horns in the air and announced allegiance to the Barney underground.

Highly recommended for fans of later Bathory and Graveworm!

All songs are sung the way I grew up hearing them. I have had such a hard time finding a CD for my daughter that had old childhood favorites sung the right way. I bought alot of CD's and everything had it's own twist of words. Most sounded so dumb and confused my daughter since they weren't sung how we were singing them at home. I was so excited when the Barney CD came and EVERY song was sung the way I remember them from when I was little. So easy for my daughter to sing along. Didn't take long for her to know every word. We love this CD so worth the money. It is my now almost 3 year old daughters favorite. :) So don't waste your money on tons of bad CD's. This is all you need.

I ordered this cd because it said that it had "There Are Seven Days" but it doesn't. It doesn't have several songs that is says it has on the back of the case. I really am upset. I would like to return it.
