This game is frustrating, trying to find Barney in this game is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I think that Barney disapears on purpose just to make you mad. I spent over 3 hours trying to find the purple dinosaur and all of his little friends. Barneys friends don't give you any help at all, all they do is just watch you as you sit there like a bump in a log trying to find them. Then Barney screams at you in some kind of weird language asking if you fell asleep looking for him. After I finally passed the 1st level, Barney's eyes turned red and he ran into a wall. After all of that I was so hungry so I ate the game. Thats my experince.

the ninteys many a child grew up in this era i was no exeption.i luved my blood and guts gun slinging barbarian battle axe type sega games. then this came along whats this game no violence whats this. so me and my friends went outside and hit each other with sticks. my point is for a kid violence is quite imatateable and this game as boring as it is to me it does have good family clean fun ewwwwwwwwww

Have a youngin' around who likes that well-known purple dino? They'll enjoy this game--and they'll be able to understand it too. Not a bad play for older kids and people either, just not a particularly challenging one.

This game is simply amazing. An uneducated person would view this game in a store and scoff at it, dismissing it as a children's game, or something not worth owning. This would be a tremendous mistake, but it is by design by Barney. This way, only those with open minds who are capable of understanding the beauty and greatness of the game would be able to partake in it. However, some people who just don't understand have received it through other means, such as illegal emulation, have been spreading bad reviews of the masterpiece. I believe this was also planned by Barney, as now only those who can truly understand will play it, and not the brainless followers who dismiss the game on the word of others.

That said, the game is amazing. The graphics are some of the best on the Genesis, colorful and detailed. The control is so good that it can predict your actions; press down on the d-pad or wait about a minute without pressing any buttons and watch as barney completes this level, just like you would have. Through the sound, you are blessed with the wisdom of Barney - he actually talks as he ventures through the enviornment. This is a vital element of gameplay as he points out objects you might not see otherwise. The gameplay is as simple, yet immensely rewarding, and has an advanced stat-keeping device that analyzes your seeking skill at the end of every level.

Ignore anything negative you've heard about this game - it is a unique, rewarding experience that has never been duplicated since.
