Barnstormin', June 22, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Barnstormin (Audio CD)
This CD has gotten great reviews from bluegrass, country and folk music publications like Dirty Linen, Country Standard Time and Sing Out. The band plays REAL bluegrass music, the way they played it in the early days of bluegrass. The CD includes great traditional songs and great original songs, too.

Nice old fashion bluegrass sound, December 27, 2005
This review is from: Barnstormin (Audio CD)
What a delight listening to traditional, old-fashioned bluegrass sound! I think of pigs running around the barn. I also think of Green Acres or John Henry, the legendary folk hero, when I listen to the music. As a New York City dweller, James Reams music makes me yearn to go to places like Kentucky or West Virginia. I especially love the hard-driven banjo sound.
