Waste of Time and Money,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Barnstormin Live Volumes 1 and 2 (Audio CD)
Do these guys use an audio engineer any more? This has to be the worst for mix and mike they've ever done. I know this is a great band with numerous great albums, but come on!

GREAT FIRST SET, PATCHY SECOND,
By Mark53 (BRIGHTON, EAST SUSSEX United Kingdom) - See all my reviews

This was my re-introduction to the Feat after many years (i'd thought they'd broken up) and i was well impressed with the lengthy jams and great production. The first set with an exemplary 'rocket in my pocket' and 'spider blues' is exceptional, but the second set i found really tedious apart from the jazz fusion of 'dog races' the rest seemed very ponderous and 'apolitical blues' plain tedious and drawn out. If you can get the seperate disc just stick with volume one or head for the 'st.louis' dvd.

Hey, It's Little Feat,

No, this probably isn't the best live CD the Feat have put out, but it is, after all, Little Feat. If you're a Feat fan, there's plenty to enjoy. Some long and tedious cuts? Perhaps, but the musicianship and tight jams make this well worth the effort.
