This is part of a gift for my grandson's 4th birthday. His mother will have to read this to him, unlike the Magic Treehouse books that are also part of the gift. When I read this book myself, I thought it would show my grandson that any boy can choose an interesting life. Now he will know more about how the dinosaur bones he sees at the museum were found. (The rest of his birthday gift is a glow-in-the-dark dinosaur T-shirt and a hard hat with a battery-operated light on the front. Books are great, but not the whole package for a 4-year-old!)
