Baron, like all of us, is getting older and his yoga reflects this. He is gentler, more careful but still challenging and motivating in this session. This workout is a slightly abridged version of Soul of Strength, as another reviewer noted. Overall, this is a nice session which starts gently (more gently than most videos) and flows well. It includes poses which may seem less familiar to yogis who have been working on Bryan Kest's 1995 series or Baron's earlier series. The flow is put together in a different order so that poses like the one-arm balancing or side plank pose may seem easier than in Bryan's early series. Overall, an excellent change of pace and a welcoming workout. Nevertheless, I would recommend the live dvd more for a better value and a slightly deeper workout.

This tape is similar to "Soul of Strength". It is done in a live class setting, with alot of the same pose but enough variety to make it intersting. It's a few minutes shorter (about 45min long). I like to do this during the week and do "SoS" or Hot Yoga 2 on the weekends. This is yoga for real people, no headstands,handstands etc. This is for those who love yoga but are still early on their path.
